1. people touching my lcd screen with their greasy fingers.
2. people using my computer without asking first
3. unreturned emails - how rude! :(

1. People claiming to know how to use a computer when they can't.
2. People who treat their computers like crap.
3. People who think computers are intimidating.

1. People who stand behind me and look over my shoulder for an extended period of time to see what I'm doing. I find it incredibly annoying. How is my typing a paper interesting?

2. I live in a dorm when I'm at school, so I can't stand when people try to use my computer without asking. I usually put it to sleep and password protect it, so it boggles my mind how people can just sit there and try to guess my password. Give up. It's password protected for a reason. I do not want you using it.

3. When I block people on IM and they make new screen names to talk to me. It's creepy.

1. Windows XP
2. The policy at work that blocks certain websites even though they're not 'dodgy'
3. Those bloody Viagra emails I keep receiving

1. Printers, I hate them, they hate me.
2. People who say their computer is "broken" because they don't know how to do something on it.
3. People (usually family members) using my PB without asking.

  1. My girfriend's celeron
  2. The fact that she uses _MY_ powerbook 90%...
  3. In order to watch a dvd when I just want to fire GarageBand and "Rock Out!"(tm)

Well, that could be worse ;)

1) Microsoft patches breaking important software once a month
2) MCSEs blaming my network because they've misconfigured their server
3) People who hire you to do consultancy on their systems but refuse to give you the access you need.

-people who hate computers but dont know that mac os exists
-people who think the company who makes iPods is called iPod
-when iMovie crashes once and people say thats why you shouldnt buy a mac, because it still crashes like their ex-pee computers.

edit: i read further into the thread, and i would like to add 2 more.
-when something goes wrong with a computer, and my mum blames it on me, as i am the only one who could screw it up because i know the most about computers
-when a problem happens with a computer, or a computer purchase recommendation is needed, and my father is asked, even though I am the one who (will soon) hold an Apple Authorised Desktop Technician certificate.

If there's one thing I hate even more, it's if a client or somebody is looking at some work on screen, and to point out what they're talking about they go tapping and prodding the screen with their pen. With their pen!

The last thing I want to be doing with my lovely screen is wiping your dirty great biro marks off it, thank you very much.

1. Dealing with tech support who knows less than you do.

2. Spam. Although I do kinda like those "Nigerian scam" e-mails, even got one from someone claiming to be Yasser Arafat's wife asking me for help to get her husbands money out of some bank. I like reading about how I'm "a person of good reputation" and such.

3. Control-Alt-Delete. You would think that MS would have just created one bright red button labled "Oh $h#t" on the keyboard that does the same thing.

1) Greasy fingermarks on my beautiful glossy screen

2) People who blatently refuse to even learn how to use a computer at its most basic eg web-browsing, email, typing, eg my mum:rolleyes:

3)BSOD

Cheers

1. My insolent iBook still refuses to turn into a MacBook.
2. People who won't learn about even basic technology.
3. People who think the big blue E is the internet.

It took me a few seconds to realise what you mean't, I haven't used IE for years (well except for Windows Update when I had a PCee) now, since Firefox went 1.0, it is truely awful, the stability is worse than any Camino Nightly i've used..

1. People reading over my shoulder. Tempted to back-fist them.
2. Dirty hands anywhere near the computer, especially the screen.
3. Viagra emails. How did they find me again?!

1. Stupid sisters who tell me we can all go together and get my step mum a laptop, but it can't be a Mac because my sister "Mary" won't be able to provide support for it.

1)My dad complaining i changed everything and now he can't figure it out. he couldn't figure it out to begin with and most of the time i just changed the desktop.
2) people touching my screen of course/scratches or smudges on the screen.
3) my battery only lasts 3 hours and Dell says it may suddenly burst into flame--WTF?! not only is my laptop huge and it gets really hot, it might explode. great.

1. People pointing at things on my screen and touching my LCD (I'm quite OCD on keeping it clean)

2. People using my iBook without asking, or grabbing it to "show me something"..

There is nothing worse then some one pointing out something with a pen and then leaving dots and lines all over the screen that is hard to get off.

I liked miniConvert's answers, but I'm changing the first one

1) People who ask me how to do something instead of looking at the help file.
2) People who start clicking everything in sight and hitting keys on the keyboard of a computer doesn't instantly perform the task they intended it to.
3) Integrated graphics.

1. People touching my screen (I know it's been said already, but it's annoying enough to warrant saying it again).
2. People who say Macs suck just because they don't know how to use them.
3. People who say that Windows must be better because certain software is available for Windows and not for Mac.

Ok, I guess I just despise ignorant people in general.
