Top 50 Posters Extrapolated, January 2007

Once again Doctor Q, thanks for compiling this data. And max_altitude, I don't believe your country-stats! I swear I read a ton more posts from UKers and you Aussies... 😛 At least in the Private Forums.

(1) The list max posted was based on the all-time Top 50, not the most recent Top 50, so you very well could indeed be reading more from the UK or Australia than what shows in his list.

(2) You may just be more attracted to posts by the Australians and Brits because you like the accent.

(3) You may have more of us Americas on your Ignore list. 😉

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure it was the current list that I used, as I checked the locations against the member list and they were in that same order.

Sorry, my statement was a little confusing.

The list you used was the grand total of the posts for the Top 50 posters of "all time" (hence why Mr. Anderson was on top) vs. the Top 50 of the past 6 months, or 12 months, or some other more recent period, during which time mad jew would have been #1, and wdlove certainly wouldn't have been #3.

Reference the list of the top posters in the past 2 years. 🙂

Yeah, we can take over a small country, even. What about Azerbaijin? We could take them and nobody would even notice.



Oh, and in case you don't remember.....BAM!! It's one of my old threads. I know I was supposed to make a histogram of this data, but someone said this sort of post was pointless for some reason, so.....

Very interesting stats. One more request, can you show a percentage of PC to general forum. How many posts do those top 10 have in the PC opposed to the main forum.

For argument sake, If the PC was added into the main post count how would that change the top 50.

So if the post counts were combined zimv20, IJ Reilly, and skunk would total about 13,000 posts each.

It wouldn't be proper to post stats about a private forum in a public forum.

It's already bad enough that I use those builtin iSights to spy on everyone's posting habits.

True, and even though stinkypants and bugzapper completely dominate the private forums, the fact that they became contributors before even a single public post would imply that they don't want to be mentioned at all out here.

Oops.
 
Zimv really does love the political forums. Its kinda scary the size of their post count just for politics alone.

Hrm maybe I should pay the $20 and get access to the private forums😉
