Here's the traditional graph showing how long the Top 50 have been forum members.

Mr. Anderson will continue to top this chart for years to come. Even though he slips down the list every year, it will be quite some time before there are 50 members with more than 22,411 posts, the number needed to tie Mr. Anderson.

The number of Top 50 members with at least a decade of membership increased from 30% to 42%.

SandboxGeneral joins simsaladimbamba as a Top 50 member with less than 4 years of membership. Both of them are closer to 4 years than 3 years.

Much better since the unwashed masses started showing up when Apple became relevant again. :D

Wish I was around back then! I've been on forums for a long time, but never thought about an Apple forum till last year!

But I agree, tons of crappy posts and posters as of late..

Go to your profile page and look at the URL. Your number is 121480.

And how does one do that, or where does one find the URL?

Of those 900,000 plus 'members', I do wonder how many - or what percentage of the total would comprise, or, are those who have posted once (quite possibly as spam)?

Actually, I encounter such threads daily, usually initiated by an individual with one post who has added links to sites).

And, I suppose, as an almost fully fledged nerd, I am curious what the percentages of the various 'categories' of member actually are; I'd be willing to bet that the vast majority lie in the region of one to ten posts.

The URL is the web address, like www.macrumors.com is a URL.

Based on stats I pulled almost 3 years ago, roughly a third have zero posts, roughly a third have 1-2 posts, and roughly a third have more than 2 posts.
