When it was Highbury, (that beautiful Art Deco stadium), it was usually quite full.
Now, The Emirates, on the other hand, well, yes, that may be another and entirely different matter, especially towards the latter end of last season.
Having said that, some of those fans didn't exactly cover themselves in glory; yes, it was time for Mr Wenger to depart, but one could have encouraged this to take place gracefully and with gratitude, in a dignified and courteous manner.

Lately, I've been revising the procedures used to produce these semi-annual stats. A lot of the 03 July stats were done with a ramshackle collection of scripted and manual Terminal commands, and I'd like to streamline the process by making it more automated.
Testing the automation scripts means running them, and I ran a data collection pass on 03 Oct. This happens to be the mid-point between 03 July 2018 and 03 Jan 2019, so I figured I might as well post some new interstitial stats. Because who doesn't like interstitial stats?
This post has Table 1 (Current Top 50) and Table 4 (Active Top 50), while a subsequent post has projected data: Table 2 (Projected Top 50) and Table MJ (Can mad jew be stopped?).

Remarks
- Once again, there were no changes in membership for the Top 10.
- @C DM and @GGJstudios swapped places.
- @Scepticalscribe moved up 2 positions, passing @mad jew in the process. She also has the highest post rate in the Top 500 (not a typo) for the 3-month interval.
- @Relentless Power remains relentless. In the last stats, he was the only member with an average post rate faster than one post per hour. He now shares that attribute with the even relentlesser @Scepticalscribe.
- @Newtons Apple had the largest change of rank: +15.
- Among the middle range of posters, @MacDawg and @eyoungren are in the midst of a "zone of stasis" occupied by several inactive members with similar total post counts. If this were an adventure movie, there'd be a vine dangling from a nearby tree to help them escape the quicksand. Tune in early next year, to see if our dauntless heroes escape this dastardly domain!!!

Remarks
- @Scepticalscribe is projected to surpass both @Doctor Q and @GoCubsGo. Since this is based on a linear projection, and I suspect she will actually have a lower post rate over the next 3 months (because she posted about going abroad), my gut feeling is that this won't happen. Now that I've broken the 4th wall, let's see what actually transpires.
- @Rogifan should make a big jump in rank, as he moves past a group with similar post counts and little change in position.
- @The Game 161 and @OllyW are projected to enter the Top 50.
- Two of the more recent members of the Top 50, @Relentless Power and @Apple fanboy, will continue to be in a close race for 13th and 14th.

Currently my objective is 20k. That puts me within striking range of being on the "Members" page and I'm a little more than 250 posts away from that at this time.

Since they don't tell you when 'Core' switches to 'Penryn' I've been observing some of the other posters and it looks like that happens somewhere around 24k posts.

My time will have slowed down while the servers time below me will move faster than me, thank you gravity. Or I could travel close to the speed of light and then return to Earth and that would accomplish my goal that much quicker, at least for me anyhow. For if I am moving close to the speed of light, my posting habits would have to be spaced out just right. I'd have to post in quick succession, thus posting faster than anyone else and would in turn have to start new threads in order to achieve my post goal at that light-speed. But then my topics would have to be made up and would appear to come from the future to those still on earth.
