"Apple events can't be boring and that's happening" means Apple regularly has these events and it has to acknowledge the public is jaded and gets bored quickly.
Gauging your posting history, you’re very unhappy with Apple in general it appears. And if I was in a position that you are over extreme bitterness of a company that’s upsetting you as much as it is on an Internet forum, maybe you should find/consider a different tech company that brings you more satisfaction other than Apple. Seemingly, stomping and whining won’t change anything, because a company doesn’t conform to what you want. Because clearly they’re not meeting your expectations.

Again, what you consider boring, isn’t everybody else’s perspective. You’re just interjecting your negativities. And that’s totally fine, but I don’t suspect the majority of people have such anguish as you do. I Just wouldn’t allow a tech company have as much emotional control over myself, as much as you allow it to.

I personally don’t need an event to be exciting, as much as I need it to be educational and informative on what choices I make with their products. Their marketing does a decent job for what it is.

Wow, such ignorance. Based on my posting history? Proof? You have me confused with someone else or maybe you are just in general confused.

What I consider "boring" is my opinion, stop pointing-out the obvious, it only makes you look ridiculous. I hope you won't be a Relentless troll and continue with this nonsense.

This isn’t in an opinion, though. You presented this as a fact. If it was your opinion, you didn’t present it that way. If you expect anybody to understand your interpretation through text on the Internet, then you should be more explanatory, in which case, you weren’t.

I agree, you’re entitled to your opinion, but you can’t expect everybody else to understand when you make a definitive statement, which you failed to explain why.

Apples springtime event to me, tend to be a little bit more tempo-ed down. Again, I (And I assume others) look for the event to be informative and educational, I don’t need to be entertained with flashy lights and colors, some of us realize that.

I’m really looking forward to the new iPad Pro coming out in March, as I need an upgrade as soon as possible for my iPad Air 2 from 2014.

Me too..I really hope they release an upgrade to the 12.9 inch and I will buy it..I know some have said they dont think its coming out in the Spring because if it has the M2 chip in it than it has to come out later but we will see

Sideloading hurts devs too. More than will be helped.

Wait... I thought devs want sideloading? So they can offer their app on their own website? And collect all the money themselves so they don't have to give such a huge cut to Apple?

Sure I think some devs might not be into sideloading. But there are plenty who would.

There are apparently enough devs who want sideloading that governments are getting involved trying to get Apple to allow it.

We'll have to wait for it to happen before we can decide whether or not it was a good idea.

:p

I've been holding out for M1 27 inch since 2020. Hoping they get to the shops this year not 2023, not sure hard drive will last that long.

The ipad air 5 must come with quad speakers at the very least. Otherwise it will just be a huge missed opportunity.

With regard to the most anticipated product the larger iMac is the one that pique's my interest the most.

Sideloading hurts devs too. More than will be helped. Android users will also be hurt by iOS sideloading. It’s pretty common for studios to release on iOS first, then use the financial metrics to gauge if/when there should be an Android release. If piracy creeps in and even if it’s only a small percent, it could be the difference between launching and not launching
Not too sure how side-loading will impact the way of app/in-app purchases being conducted. However what I do like about Apple’s in app purchases it makes it very easy to remove a subscription. Side-loading and paying outside of Apples ecosystem will kill this and likely make it more difficult for consumers to cancel subscriptions and in-app services if the consumer has to sift through different platforms/websites to do
So. A lot of sites/services make it a huge effort to cancel/unsubscribe.
