all i have to say is that this piece of news is just awesome on several levels. brave souls too.
How is it not sexual discrimination to allow men to show their boobs but not women? Some men have bigger breasts than women. This never really made sense to me.

There are nude beaches in almost every american state and not just on the coasts. There is a huge one on the Wisconsin River outside Madison for instance.
And yes contrary to popular buzz, the attendees are not just middle aged ex-hippies. However, you do not see much of a movement to get more american beaches less clothed these days. Its only driven by a small local demand and tourism like in Miami.

Why are there so many people afraid of being nude anyway? Even in same sex change rooms, I've seen so many people covering up when changing or taking showers.
really doesn't have to do with that. Instead, topless rarely causes panic and all-out rage on part of people (mind you more topless is more common where all of the resorts are located and not down where many of the locals hang out). If it did cause some chaos, the cops would tell them to cover it up.
Its the same way with alcohol on the beach. Its technically not allowed, but the cops allow it until they see rowdy or bad behavior.
that is actually how most laws are. mostly everything is illegal but just not enforced until it becomes a problem. it makes it easier to control but at the same time letting people enjoy some vices here and there.
