I looked at some screen shots online of these two, and the bigger one is quite big, I think I like the more compact size of the smaller one, but it seems the camera is better in the big one, with optical image stabilization, that is the feature that is pulling me to the big one, but there do seem to be issues with it as seen in some threads here.

I do like taking photos, and video can be adjusted after if it is a bit shaky, but a blurry photo cannot be made clear with any image editor. I thought the phone pmus one has optical stabilization because it is bigger, and would need it, otherwise it would be shaky compared to the regular 6s.

is it worth switching the regular 6s for the plus for this feature? or is it possible to get clear photos with the 6s which does not have optical image stabilization?

I was thinking and saw there are apps such as camera plus. if I really want very good photos I would probably use my good point and shoot as well, it has an optical zoom, something cell phone cameras dont seem to have, if they did, I would leave the point shoot altogether and just go with my camera phone.

I wish apple had this in their regular phones.

another issue is my hands are sort of small, not tiny, but a bit smaller than the avarage woman's hands.

I had iPad Air 2 and Sony Xperia Z2.

When I bought iPhone 6+, I sold Air 2 as I stopped using it as often and was no point in keeping it.

Now I have 6s+ and couldn't be happier!

While I was waiting for my 6s+ I used my backup phone, 4.5 inch Moto G... My goodness... I was so tired of the small screen estate and the resolution. I played with 6s for a short while and while it is nice, more pocket friendly and better for one hand use - I would not swap.

I appreciate the higher resolution and bigger screen, easier to read on it and better battery life.

I would say go for the 6s+.

I upgraded from a 6 to a 6s plus and kinda regretting it. Battery life is awesome and screen size to behold but one handed use is more important to me. Stuck on a bus and I can only use the phone with one while holding onto something with the other. Feels more comfortable to hold with one hand without getting any fatigue.

I use my phone lying in bed much of the time and trying the hold/cup it above your head is not much fun. The smaller 6 was easier to hold lying on my side as well with one hand.

This thing does not fit well in slim pants or skinny jeans, be warned!

Still trying to get used to the 6s+ after a week.

The smaller...the better :)

I couldn't decide between the 6 and 6 plus last year. I made mock ups of both and decided to go with the 6. This year I jumped to the 6s plus.

I'm really happy I did it that way. The 6 was a substantial adjustment from my 5s and the jumping straight to the 6 plus would have have been a much longer adjustment period for me.

When i moved to the 6s plus this year the adjustment was much faster having taken that incremental step, even though the 6 to 6 plus is a bigger jump IMO than the 5 series to the 6.

As for hand size I have large palms, short fingers.

So many opinions. None are wrong. I had a 6+ along with my Note 4. Even though I was plenty comfortable with my Note the 6+ felt too big so when I moved up I got the 6s and I love it. I still carry my Note 4 but my 6s is taking more and more of my screen time. It's just so much easier to handle and carry around.
