My Pro Max 12 lasts me 1.5 days too. And I’m not a light user. Not sure what the case is here, but the battery life on my 12 is outstanding.

I don’t have 5G coverage here, though.
What phone are you coming from? And not using the most touted feature on a phone makes it have really good battery. But when you use the feature they advertised the most fir the phone it doesn’t.

Never buy a phone because of its camera. If you want to play with RAW files, get a real DSLR or mirrorless and some nice glass.

A real DSLR vs what, an unreal one? They’re all just digital cameras with different interfaces and sensor sizes.

And as the market has long told us, DSLRs are a niche for enthusiasts.

Oh, I’m coming from iPhone X - but I didn’t want to compare, I just said I’m getting a day and a half easily with some nice usage.

As for 5G, I agree - however, that’s how that technology is. I dob’t think there is a phone out there that doesn’t have bad battery life when using a lot of 5G. Also, Apple went overboard with advertising 5G, it was really annoying. Even if I had 5G here, that would be the least interesting feature for me.

Also, it seems 14.2 has some battery issues - I haven’t noticed them myself, but maybe that’s also a culprit?

Any good photographer will (or should) tell you that the best camera, is the one you have with you.

Yes, technical improvements make a difference, of course they do. But not as much as the person holding it. A good photographer can achieve stunning results with the most basic of cameras.

Own the phone that you like best, when all of its properties are taken into consideration, not just a camera. There’s no point being unhappy, for the sake of the occasional better photo.

Ya coming from 10 to 11 pro max was a huge difference in battery size. I think the biggest jumó they have made. So I can only imagine you loving it on 12 pro max.

ya the damn modem, but the X60 is suppose to be way better this year.

I also heard about that with 14.2, not sure I am seeing those big drops I’m just worried about the heat. It’s not normal.

So less notifications is less screen time right?
If you have the phone face down on a table or wherever it won’t light up the screen! Little battery trick. So when ur girlfriend accuses of you always have ur phone down to hide stuff it’s really for battery saving techniques..😂🤣

Wait—why isn’t the regular 12 Pro in the mix, here? It shoots ProRAW, is better at macro shots than the 12PM, and doesn’t require a 20-gallon backpack to carry. Just saying...

I understand, but regardless - you said yours can't hold until the end of the day, while I get a day and a half on mine, that's all. But I get that you feel 11 Pro Max had better battery life for you.

Ya the 11pm was better for me. I think mine is just having a heat issue modem and battery so something is up. Pretty sure I am going to exchange it since the exchange window went to Jan 6th for Holliday
