Tornado Warning in Los Angeles, CA 1/19/10

From Florida

Hope everyone is okay an it was a little nuts to hear a twister might hit so cal but growing up in Florida that sorta weather is a daily occurence especialy in the summer time. It's odd in the summer not to be in a tornado watch/warning and there are heavy storms daily. Makes you wounder why it's called the "sunshine" state.

Pfft, tornado warning. In the midwest that just means to go outside and look in the sky to see if you can spot any funnels forming, and if you do, run inside...

...to grab the camera and run back outside to take pictures and/or video of said funnel cloud.

i put this :( this face b/c i hate driving in the 405....when it rains....and it feels like a hurricane or tornado is blowing in so hard that visibility is at a near 10% and when it normally takes me to get from LAX to Irvine (45 minutes) however on a rainy day....it takes me (2 hours 7 minutes) :D

I wasn't referring to you...... I was referring to people who live here in general.:D

"Not you man, you're cool"

The amount of people who forget how to drive when it's raining here is beyond belief. It's like it's a snowstorm.....
