I hope Raid remembers. Actually it doesn't matter, but I figure if I'm going to meet MR people, I may as well do it all in one go.

He better remember! We could PM him too.

No PM needed, I am keeping it in mind. :)

Still looking for a t-shirt... oh and by the way if you google "superhero t-shirts Toronto" this thread is in the top 10 hits. :D

hmm im somewhat close to canada these days

Where in Upstate New York are you? If you're in the neighbourhood of Buffalo it might be worth the trip... if you are anywhere east of Syracuse it might put a lot of pressure on us to be entertaining! ;)

... Well a quick check of Google maps says it's about a 6.5hour drive (while long it's surprisingly direct). If you come you'd better not make any plans for monday either!

I was in Toronto last month a few blocks from that location. I'd consider going again but it's about 7 hour drive from here and too frackin' cold.

The green lantern will be there! You've no doubt have landed by now Lee, I hope you have a good time touring around. I'll see everybody on Sunday.

Oh man! We had a great time yesterday and last night. I think we walked every inch of downtown several times. I'm starting to get fairly familiar with the area, too. Met a lot of cool people out last night down in the Church and Wellesley area. Lots of cute guys you have here in Toronto! :) Oh - and I love the Canadian accent.

True. I've got to catch up on some sleep before thinking further. It's like food shopping on a hugely full stomach.

Glad you had fun last night, though. You should see the 'district' during the summer months. Lots of eye candy.

You guys are making me homesick every time this thread pops up.

Glad you're enjoying Church Street- it's a fun area.

Enjoy the snow storm that's about to start- the system will dump anywhere from five to 10 centimetres on the city. I certainly don't miss that!

Drive safe.

You guys better be going for some of this today or during the week (they're closed on Sundays) or else it's a waste of a trip to Toronto IMO!:

It's snowing now. Iscariot and I went to a great place with climbing walls (as in indoor rock climbing). I had never climbed before, and I must say it was damn fun. I'm a little banged up, but I'm always running into things, so that was fine. :)

OK! The meet up was fun! It ended up being me, Iscariot, Abstract and Raid. It was a helluva a good time if I do say so myself, and abstract gave me a very nice gift- some maple creme cookies! I'm excited to try this lovely-looking Canadian treat. :)

We shall be posting pics later. ;)

Glad to have met you all. I didn't know what to expect meeting people I know only on the internet, but everyone was very pleasant. :) We talked, and watched an awesome band play. I don't know the band's name, but they were very very good.

Sorry I had to rush off like that. I thought the last train was at like 1:15 AM at Queen St. Station, and I had to make sure to get on it. That, and I hadn't eaten dinner yet :)o)), so I was pretty desperate to get a sausage or McDonalds before I got onto the train. Goodness I was hungry and tired. The worst parts of the conversation were anything involving food. :p

Anyway, later I'll post some photos that I think are OK to be posted.
