Is there a place to find these discounts? I've been hunting around macrumors and the web to no avail. I am not a part of a university or corporation that gives me special discounts.

Then you might be out of luck. I was able to add mine because my grad school email still worked for a few years after I graduated, allowing me to use AT&T's automated system to put a 15% student FAN discount on my account.
