TouchID was working fine >80% of the times on my iPhone 5S. After some updates, it worked something like 95% of the times.
With the iPhone 6 I still have to see it fail once....

Absolutely happy about it.

Three iPhone 6 16gb here family phone's

Brother's phone been perfect since launch day.
Mother's phone touch ID starting to fail I tried a full factory DFU restore too it just doesn't seen to read finger print as well.

My phone been great from launch day but the front face camera somehow moved out of place I really don't know how did this happen.

Are you sure it wasn't defective since the beginning?

I am in no way saying it does not work for "many millions"!

I assure you my fingers prints are quite intact. I do use a passcode so I am not worried about enforcement getting into my phone.

Lol I wasn't talking about them getting into your phone. I was talking about them being able to identify you :) as a joke ....

However did I see it right that you had your thumb three times in your phone? I would really not recommend doing that. Just have one entry in there. I just have both my thumbs and index fingers once in there. Four entries in total.

Yes, it works much better out of the box on the 6/6+ as it's said to have improved TouchID hardware, in addition to improved algorithm in iOS 8.

I don't think the 6/6 Pluses Touch ID is better or worse then my 5s but Touch ID under iOS 7 was pretty crappy. It worked, but it had its share of problems. iOS 8 improved Touch ID on my 5s and the 6 Plus, well, it's the same. :p

The recommendation came from others in this forum. Not a problem as it did not help.

It used to help in iOS 7 to have the same thumb entered twice to improve TouchID accuracy but is no longer necessary in iOS 8 and iPhone 6/6+.

Again, you don't know what you're missing if you don't give it another try on the 6/6+.
