It was flawless when it started. Who would've anticipated a biometric scanner on your phone? SickIt was introduced with the 5S. But one may argue that it wasn't until the 6S when it works faultlessly and instantly, so quickly that you no longer need to pause for it to read your prints.

I think quite a few people anticipated that type of thing quite a bit before, and certainly more so closer to the 5s release. It was flawless when it started. Who would've anticipated a biometric scanner on your phone? Sick

Link? Pretty sure the Nexus only appears faster because the animation to unlock is faster.Well the nexus 6p has one that has been tested to be slightly faster than the 6s Touch ID. the thing is, iPhone has the advantage of it being on the front of the phone

There were ways to work around any potential problems of that nature though, by adding the same print more than once, capturing every part of it. Worked great. That being said, it's insanely good on the 6S/6S Plus. Not for my experience. Many 5S users that I know gave up on the Touch ID because the prints wouldn't register correctly half the time. iOS upgrades later seemed to have improved it.
It's the first one to work. The atrix was an absolute joke. You do realise that the iPhone wasn't the first phone with a finger print scanner right?
