Not to mention that Santa probably isn’t carbon-neutral. And I don’t even mean all the chimneys.

Why would Santa, a being that lives for hundreds of years because he's magical, have to wear a mask? He would not be able to transmit, nor contract disease. lol

Everyone talks about Santa doing his thing in one night, but if you put in Time Zones, that actually is a really long night. I wonder how long that actually is. I'm sure that was a Math Problem of the Week in school somewhere.
That’s an interesting question. According to some calculations, Santa has about 36 hours to deliver all the presents to the Christian children who celebrate Christmas on December 25th. This is because he can take advantage of the time zone shifts and the different lengths of the night at different latitudes.

However, this also means that Santa has to travel very fast, about 0.5% the speed of light, and visit about 6,100 children per second. That’s quite a feat!

Haha! Santa is definitely magical ain’t he. Some sci-fi gear under that wooden chariot skin.

What’s beating me though, it takes 24hrs for the earth to do a full loop, meaning Santa would have to start at the first time zone that’s soon to be Dec 25th right after midnight (UTC 0 would be? Or -12?) and keep at it at lightning speeds going up and down all the cities in said time zone trying to not go over a constant “midnight time” for 24 hrs up until he reaches UTC time zone just before the one he started with. Not sure where that extra 12hrs time leeway come from.

One kid in my neighbourhood had a long Christmas wish list and when his parents told him that the stuff is too expensive, he he told them that they do not have to worry, as Santa pays for all the Christmas presents and Santa is rich. So telling your children that Santa exists might fire back.
We told our kids that Santa only gives toys to the kids whose parents can’t afford toys. For our kids, Santa only brings the stockings. I didn’t want that fat old bastard to take credit for all the money I spent on toys! Especially when I built my son a beautiful, hand crafted, walnut Lego table last year with side storage pockets.

I spent so many hours planning that out, sourcing materials, and building it in my workshop. And besides that, my kids knew I was up to something working in there so much and not letting them come in. Usually they like to see what I’m working on and I have them put on their safety glasses and I’ll show them some of my process and even let them help with some of the safer steps.

Maybe the idea that a stranger, an old guy in an odd uniform, creeping around your house in the middle of the night isn't something that appeals to Apple?
Hahaha that’s only because you’ve been brainwashed into thinking everyone who is a stranger, or old, is creepy.

Heard the Norad tracker got its start from a child misdailing and calling the unlisted phone number to NORAD (had a different name then) back in the 50's to talk to Santa. Back then they embraced the idea, got (separate phone number) and volunteers to handle the kids calls about Santa.

Does the Google tracker also monitor you in order to see if you gave been naughty or nice ?

Instead of giving cookies to Santa, you get cookies :).
That's an interesting idea...and app that demands full time access to microphone, learns your voice and then starts rating you and how you interact with other people (putting you on the naughty or nice list). Guessing there'd be a fair number of crazy people who'd do it too, lol.

Blazerunner - it is a Apple rumor site, so yeah of course right?
