What do think about the new transcaction animations in iOS7?

First world problems. I don't think it's slow at all on my iPhone 5. It takes less than a second for each animation. I don't get why people think that extra fraction of a second is going to make a real difference. All of the transition animations in your day probably add up to 10 extra seconds.

I timed 5.7 seconds for me to come out of one app and enter another one (via two separate folders). The same actions can be performed in half the time on iOS6.

Some people like the pretty animations that slow down their productivity, others like myself prefer to be able to swap quickly and effortlessly between folders and applications. After all, what's the point of giving a speed bump to the latest iPhone when it's restricted by the iOS animation speeds.

I hope Apple is decreasing the timing in the final build:

A few weeks to the final. I think we have to live without the slow animations.

Apple will give us NEVER an option to change the animation speed seetings.

:-( That's really boring. Such a powerful processor in the iPhone DESTROYED by only one sodtware setting.

I've heard the animation lengths will be shorter only on the iPhone 5S.

People will notice that it's slower an complain, if it's not faster by GM it probably will be by iOS 7.1.2 or something.

Way too slow. iOS 7 is too much of an attention whore with its animations.

I never bothered with jailbreaking but I definitely will on iOS 7 (if possible). The animations are way too slow. Hopefully there's also a way to make the multitasking return to home screen when you press the home button. Apple made some baffling decisions with this OS
