wait what? i've been living with it for around 3 months now, nothings happened except for that pesky trashcan loooking full all the time...
 
I think I found the solution to this. As someone else said it is a file on the boot camp partition that is trying to be deleted. I think the cause was when I was running Windows XP via Vmware and deleted a file. I exited XP and closed Vmware and the file was stuck in the trash and couldn't be deleted. What solved it for me was loading up XP in Vmware and then emptying the trash is OS X.
 
The problem here is that I only use bootcamp and not any other software to run windows, so do I just boot in windows and try emptying the trash there?
 
Hmm, you could try that. When I ran MainMenu and did force empty trash, it spit out an error saying it could not delete .Trash on my Windows XP partition. See what it says when you run that.
 
Ok so... problem solved itself. I have absolutely no clue how, but it did. So I switched to Winxp by bootcamp and it goes to the blue error screen and said it corrected the bad file in the Trash so its over. I have clue clue how what or why...
