A year ago it was at $173, today it is at $225...Apple's stock is down what. Like 20 Percent?
Their iPhone sales in China are doing horrible.
That’s more of a reason to hang onto to my 12 pro max until something promising shows up.Calling it an S even is generous. The move from my 11P to 15P was barely noticeable as it was...
maybe invites will go out next weekSo new macs will be announced around Oct. 15th ??
Educational discounts for Macs in Europe last until the 21st, so I’d expect either 22nd, 28th or 29th.So new macs will be announced around Oct. 15th ??
Any of the new phones would be a major upgrade for you. That’s more of a reason to hang onto to my 12 pro max until something promising shows up.

I doubt it, 0 demand and stock a plenty all over the world.
Never seen so many iPhone pros in stock all over California since launch day so I don’t see how they could be selling well. Last year there wasn’t ONE available of any color or configuration until a couple weeks into October.

The wall street analysts all mention "iphone 16" demand, which makes people think all iphone 16's are selling slower. It seems that they purposely neglect to mention the pro models. Apple said earlier in the year that they were going to increase production on the pro models to adjust for the anticipated demand surge. Just looking at apples website yesterday, the pro modes have 4-5 week ship dates. To me that would say even though apple increased production of the pro models, with the increased demand, the extra production of pro models still isn't good enough to meet demand....meaning the pro models are selling better than anticipated. At least that's how i read the tea leaves......The real demand for 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max seems to be very high, looks like mainstream media and journalists have been wrong as usual.
Apple is artificially propping it up with stock buy backs. Its down a whopping 4% from its all time highs.
Am i misremembering, or didn’t we have an oddly timed product announcement on Halloween last year?
While i agree the 16 has been a disappointment, the Vision Pro a disaster and the AppleCar fiasco a straight up embarrassment, Tim Apple’s main talent has always been bean counting and book cooking so I’m sure his FY ‘24 wrap up will be fine. As long as Services continue to hide the slump in hardware sales on the big ledger, AAPL will survive. I don’t envy the mess he’s going to leave for whomever does eventually succeeds him, but I highly doubt the Human Dial tone cares frankly as they’ll be the ones taking the blame when the house of cards he’s spent a decade building toppled over the moment he shuts the door behind him.I doubt it, 0 demand and stock a plenty all over the world. Vision Pro failed, billions lost to the car project during Tim's tenire...Tim needs to depart and make way for a visionary.
cool, hundreds and hundreds of publicly traded companies buy back their stock to increase shareholder value. Point is, it's still near its all time high regardless.Apple is artificially propping it up with stock buy backs.
Some seem to be having difficulty finding iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models.
For example:

So I just checked, and once again, just like on launch day when there was a bunch of 16 pro max phones available across Los Angeles, there’s almost everything available right now. So I don’t know if it’s just that certain countries or states get less stock or what. If I was to get one this year it would be the black 256hb pro max and they have them in stock at the Brea mall store right now.
Last year at this time I tried to exchange my defective 15 pro max and they didn’t even have replacement phones in stock anywhere, because there was so much demand.
Indeed! Thank you.I assume you mean the "Scary Fast" Event...
