More lenses, a faster processor and photo capturing tools in a device that looks the same as the current models. Who the hell gives a s*** about any of this? Do they really think any of this will encourage people to upgrade? Nope. It's like they're not even trying.

The 2020 5.7” iPhone version may receive the triple lense camera. Here is hoping the laser ToF sensor shrinks the notch in all directions.

Android phones have had this for a while for the rear camera, different purpose.

What innovations and game-changing features would you suggest for the next iPhone?

As if they needed to add a reason for people to buy the Max... it's already more popular than the smaller phone.

And which feature is going to sell the smaller expensive phone? X and XS were already pretty much the same device...

So the trend of "Max" size phones get the special treatment of extra camera lenses, and goodies is back. Also my prediction of prices is $1,100 for the iPhone 11, and $1,300 for the 11Max in the US only. In the rest of the world the prices will be $700 for the iPhone and $750 for the 11Max phone. Just my impression on how Tim Cook talked about how the prices were really high outside the United States on the earnings call.

"Bloomberg says that the camera will be able to scan areas up to 15 feet from the device. Apple's front-facing TrueDepth camera uses 3D technology but because it's infrared and not laser-powered, it only works at distances of 25 to 50 centimeters. Sony could be Apple's supplier for the new system, with Apple in talks with Sony over sensor tests." is incorrect.

Finisar makes vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSEL) used in the iPhone X’s face-recognition system.

The iPhone is rapidly becoming a camera with a phone built in. That's a lot of tech (and expense) for photos and videos.
That seems to be where it is headed every year.

LASIK eye surgery: now bundled with your iPhone.

You just gave Tim a new idea and he will take all the credit for this. Another Apple medical break-through.

How about an iPhone with a smaller form factor (edge-to-edge, a bit bigger than an SE), a single camera on back (and front), the latest processor, Touch ID, and a price around $600?

Apple, if you build it, it'll sell like crazy. No lie.

Single portable device convergence. Why is this a surprise, how much of an improvement can any company make on a voice based telephone (that market matured a long time ago).

Expect more development in photos, videos and 3D until hologram technology is ready.

Consumers tell android device makers and those device makers tell Apple. How many times does Apple listen to the consume directly, their play it safe and call it refinement.

At times Apple goes fringe and with a swift blow removes CD/DVD drives, headphone port, etc.

Gotta leave room for 11s. Also... never cover up the Apple logo.

The lenses will be the outline of an Apple logo.

Hope photos wise we see better Low light performance and night sight mode like on pixel....would welcome that.

And it will atill look like **** compared to an entry level nikon with plastic lens. Instead of focusing on adding lens, how about a refreshed SE or at least a smaller form factor than thr current phablets?

2020 will be the year I will be upgrading my 6S, so I can't wait!!
Yeah, I'm actually starting to think that with all the news of delays in this and delays in that, regular consumers are getting a message, intentional or not, that upgrading in 2019 might not be a good decision.
There will be an app for that.

But now I wonder if Ming Chi Kuos real name includes “reliable Apple analyst”. It really shouldn’t be necessary to write that phrase all the time.
They put that in because every time he provides analysis, there is a group on this site that will immediately attack his credibility.
