Don’t bother ordered the Tethys branded ones from amazon, they have sharp edges and the alignment tray is a bit off top to bottom.
[doublepost=1537650878][/doublepost]Which screen protectors are actually full 3D and WITHOUT any sharp edges? No need to case clearance here with the pitaka case.

Try the iCarez that I linked earlier

Weird. I bought the tethy. Does not have sharp edges. Aligment was on point. No halo effect or air. It looks like i have no tempered glass. Best tempered glass i have ever use in any phone. U get lifetime warranty plus they are giving $10 amazon card for a amazon review.

Can someone PLEASE help me find a rear glass protector that fits close to the i area 3D? I’ve had their front 3D on my X and now my XS Max but the back of my X got so scuffed up from using it without a case... just like I plan on my Max. Having a protector for the back that isn’t really noticeable would be perfect. Must be clear, go around the camera, and be close to the edge!

Perhaps they changed suppliers and some are different? idk. I returned mine to order the icarez. Shrug.
Also paying for positive reviews is kinda sketchy no?

Yeah scketchy. But from my use it is perfect. I havent use icarez 3D so im not sure if this is better or worse. All i know is that i pay $15 for 3 protector. Took the risk since icarez was out of stock and someone from iphone x thread recommended the tethy. Some of Best money i’ve ever spent and still have 2 xtra glass.

You talked me into it since the first 3 I ordered from a recommendation in another thread have still not arrived.

I just installed the iCarez 3D on my iPhone X. First time to try this brand, and first time to try full edge-to-edge 3D protector. I love it so far. The applicator frame made installation so easy. (I'll likely never buy screen protectors again that don't have that!). And the few initial bubbles easily pushed out.

I am using with the Apple Leather Case and it works perfectly. You literally can't tell I have a screen protector on it, and the case doesn't push up the corners or anything.

Here's a quick pic. (Excuse any small lint or glare...)

Is that the full edge-to-edge one or case-friendly version?

That’s the full edge-to-edge 3D version. I had read from others that it still works with the Apple Leather and Silicon cases. I’m happy to report it does.

In the picture, it does look like the protector stops short of the edge. But that’s just light glare. That’s not the edge. The edge of the protector goes all the way to the case (and tucks ever so slightly under the lip of the case). Hard to show in picture.

If I were using a different brand case, I’d likely go with the 2.5D version to be safe.

This pic might look a little better. Really hard to get rid of the glare where the protector curves.

I had the icarez 2.5d on my X for 9 months with no issues at all. Never had the clean the screen with anything more than my shirt and it remained silky smooth.

The issue I've had with edge to edge/black frame protectors is the adhesive is only around the frame and after time it doesn't properly adhere to the glass causing touch issues..also after a couple drops in my experience they pop off.

Are u coming from a samsung galaxy. Cause this issue is with all curve screen in the galaxy. With iphone i never had this problem since all of them are flat screen. Iphone x and now the max edge to edge full coverage are all full adhesive, not just around the black border.

I'm receiving my Thetys Screen Protector from Amazon tomorrow, how do I get that gift card?
Have to submit a review in amazon. After u submit the review. U have to email them with the link of ur review and they will email u the gift card. Also register with them for lifetime warranty. I dont really bother. 3X for $15 dont think warranty is needed

Pixel 2 xl..I'll have to check some out for the xs max

I’ll recommend the icarez as well, and do NOT get the Spigen. I luckily bought both in case one wasn’t good. Tried the Spigen first on my Max and it had a ton of bubbles around the edge that wouldn’t go away. Took it off and tried the second Spigen and it already had dust on it! They are on,y 11.99 for 2 and come with an install tool but based on these I’d stay away.

The icarez 3D were up next and they installed perfectly, no issues and very easy. Definitely recommend them.

Where can I signup for the $10 gift card?

Anyone have both an iCarez and Tethys? Curious as to which has a smaller black border or if they are the same.

I got the iCarez. $9 or so for two protectors is great. I remember paying $10-$15 for a single edge to edge on the 7 Plus I’m coming from.

I wasn’t able to get the XS Max into the guide/frame they provide all the way but it was still helpful.

I screwed up the first one by letting a bit of dust under (my fault, I was doing it in the Apple store when I picked up my phone), but the second one went on perfectly, can’t even tell tell there’s a protector on at all!

Oh and it works perfect with a transparent TPU case I got.

I ordered another set so I have it on hand should I need it in the future.

I highly recommend iCarez!
See my thread on re-using protectors. Do not throw them away :)

Does it affect the color/brightness of the screen?
