I don't like the youtube app. Can't wait for the iOS 6 jailbreak so I can install my beloved ProTube. My iPad has it, but my iPhone doesn't.

In no way am I condoning his actions of taking the iPad, but how could things have gone a lot worse for had he not returned it voluntarily? He denies taking it, closes the door to the reporter, then takes a hammer and smashes the iPad to smithereens. End of story. He lost his job for stealing the iPad, not because he returned it. The news had all the proof they needed and things could've gone a lot worse for him had he not returned it voluntarily.
It plays perfectly fine for me from the YouTube website on my iPad with iOS 6.
Cringe-worthy. While I feel bad for him, don't be a dick.
Why would you feel bad or him?
Guys like him are why your stuff disappears from your suitcase when you travel.
Would you feel bad if it had been your iPad that went missing?
You're joking right? We need to GET RID OF TSA AND BRING BACK PRIVATE SECURITY! This is stupid! Never had any issues like this when we had private security. Government security is a JOKE.
</politcal rant>
P.S... Good to know Find my iPhone can recover something if setup right, with the right restrictions in iOS in place![]()
Haha yeah. It appears though that at 2:12, when he is handing back the iPad tot he reporter, she is telling him "I found it," presumably because she doesn't want her husband to be questioned or fired. That whole confrontation is uncomfortable to watch.
You're joking right?
It was way worse when there was private security.
How do you think 9/11 happened?

Terrorists highjacked some airplanes with empty bomb threats?
You're joking right?

'Terror' is stripping away every liberty we had. When you can't even pack toothpaste in your bag you know the entire system is out. The Government has over-extended its authority by not trusting the very people it works for.
My wife worked at the Vancouver airport in security before we moved to LA 5 years ago.
She said you would be shocked the things they catch, that the public doesn't hear about.
And if you know anything about explosives, then you would understand the reasons for limiting what you can bring in your carry on, and why it's limited to how much.
Personally, I'll happily have those rules enforced.
Taking off my shoes is a small price to pay, for not getting blown out of the sky.
You reinforced my statement. The Government doesn't trust the people it works for.
Yeah. And just like magic it didn't play.
Just like magic,it said I needed to download fash.
I haven't been able to use the YouTube website on my iPad 3 for a week. I get a "You must have Adobe Flash installed" across the video.
Supposedly, Google changed their page video embedding coding last week to thwart bypassing ads. I haven't been able watch videos via the website since.
I'm glad he got fired. I hope he isn't collecting unemployment benefits.
Yeah. After they got through security with box cutters.
It is still possible to get prohibited items through security. The TSA has not changed that. People do it all the time to show how it's just security theater.
The only useful post-9/11 change has been the locking and reinforcement of cockpit doors.
zero tolerance on theft, the way it's supposed to be.
And theft was a huge problem back in the day. Suitcases ripped open, items disappearing.
Actually, you have to be a citizen to work fr he TSA.He's probably a legal immigrant if he's working as a TSA officer, and he's not necessarily Mexican.
What's your point? That the establishment of the TSA directly led to less theft?
I find that very hard to believe.
This is why I put complex passwords on my devices, so no one gets into it.
