Cool beans. Now will they stop fracturing other supply lines? Like everyone pays the same for getting an Intel device with only GSM bands? So you either have to shell out up front for unlocked if you've got AT&T/T-Mobile. If you go through the Apple upgrade program, don't tell them you've got AT&T or T-Mobile.

Short answer. No one can deliver those chips with the required volume and quality other than TSMC or Samsung.
The technology is mostly owned by Global Foundries with their IBM acquisitions; and they are jointly working with TSMC to deliver 7nm and below for AMD and beyond.
When I see the tsmc logo I see a lot of holes.
So, maybe the rumors stand for A- .........
