Helpful hint:

When you get a WSJ article behind their paywall, Google the title of article and you'll be given a link that works.

Ahh ok, I've just realised that the tagline "Let's talk iPhone" refers to the Assistant.

Now I'm even more interested.

I wouldn't read too much into this article. The WSJ just seems to be restating what the general consensus is but not confirming anything. I don't think they know anything. Most importantly, this reporter is not the one who usually communicates the inside information.

WSJ just posted what looks like a controlled leak: no 4G (LTE or WiMAX). Curious that it wouldn't discount the larger screen as that would have been a good time to do it. Alleyinsider has the link but I'm on my 3G and it is irritating to switch pages.

I'm not at all saying they have complete control. But they do provide information. And information from Apple = the information you're going to print.

They have a PR department that is brilliant at manipulating popular opinion and the media. They would have put these iPhone 5 rumors to rest.

Hell, most publications are even now calling a 4S only event the "worst case scenario."

Yeah, i've seen the bit about it being the worst case scenario on multiple site. You would think that a statement like that would be something Apple would vest a lot of effort into controlling. Unless, they have something spectacular planned.

If we don't get a redesign then Apple will lose potential customers to Android. This is a fact. Doesn't mean Apple is in trouble. 4S would still sell millions. Especially with Sprint in the mix. This NY Times article backs me up.

Gotta say that if WSJ is still printing the potential of a larger screen on the day of the keynote, then there must be some hope. Some.

Also this Hard Candy story has me so confused. I seriously doubt Apple is going to give us a 4.5" screen, but if it does..........oh boy.
