I do hard reboot my Apple Devices at least once a month (thinking iPhone/Watch).
I am pretty selective on what I save when it comes to emails (90%+ goes to trash). I have 3.8GB of emails (about 120k total) since I started saving emails back in the 5MB Yahoo days.
However, when it comes to Photos, I see those are more of a "picture is worth 1000 words" - and I have:

It's about 123.85GB. About 15k of those are from the days when I had a DSLR so... it's a lot more than it really is. I used to be a hobbyist photographer - had a Flickr account and even got a few of my photos used by journalists/news articles. I use photos as a way to remember the day and share information. If I work hard at something, I'll snap a photo of it, etc.
