I really don't know how to do???

I download a patch from Flex. when its completed "Patch has been installed but needs to be switched on". Please anyone tell me how to switched on and where? This is my patch "App nana syn: Get 1,000,000,000"

Okay, I found my patch for the Xfinity TV GO app that I had upload a while back when I first created this tutorial. I haven't tried them yet but once I can confirm it's working I'll post the unit names and values. If you would like to test it yourself first then follow these steps:

1) Download and install Cracked FLEX 2 from Cydia
2) Open Flex 2 and switch to the cloud tab (tap the cloud button on the bottom menu)
3) In the "Installed" list, look for the TV GO app, it should be called "Player", and tap on it.
4) Download the following patches:
- Player Skips Commericals
- Remove Jailbreak Check
- TV GO Patch
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE AIRPLAY PATCH IN THIS LIST. That path is not mine and I have never tested it out so I don't know if it will work.
5) Tap back to the "Installed" list and go back to the top of the list
6) If you have the cracked version, the first app in the list will be the FLEX icon with the name "Uploads on Server Cracker". Tap on that.
7) This list is shows all the patches uploaded by users that have the cracked version of FLEX 2. (Most) Patches are in alphabetical order.
8) Scroll all the way down to the "T"s and look for TV GO: Enable AirPlay Video. Download this patch.
9) Go back to Patches tab (tap the list icon on the bottom menu) and turn on all the TV GO patches you just downloaded.
10) Enable AirPlay Video (NOT MIRRORING) and any video you play from the app will be sent via AirPlay Video(NOT MIRRORING) to the Apple TV

Let me know how it works out below!
I followed the steps exactly, and at first, it worked perfectly. But now whenever I try to AirPlay a live channel to XBMC (on my laptop; no AppleTV), I get a video error on the TVGo app everytime.

Wow, I didn't even know you could do airplay to XBMC on a laptop!

Have you gone back and checked each unit one by one to make sure it's the correct unit and has the correct values?

Yeah, XBMC has the Airplay functionality built in so, you could even Airplay to XBMC on an iPhone, from another iPhone!!!

Lolkthxbai, is this the full tutorial as it seems to stop abruptly?
I'm trying to enable airplay on the Star Sports app, from India, to watch football/soccer, as Airplay is not enabled natively.
If you could help, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I tried using displayout and get the following image with half the screen block. Is there anything that I can do to remove the black part via flex 2? Sorry for the rotated image.

The only thing I can suggest is to look at the units of an HDMI out patch that works, and see what was modified.

Go to Cloud in the Flex 2 app, then the Installed tab. This should give you a list of your installed apps. Pick one that doesn't have HDMI out, and see if there is an HDMI out patch for it. Verify the patch works, and then comb through the units to see what was modified.

Have an ipad 3 (ios7) trying to "airplay" netflix to an iphone 4 (ios6) running airserver connected to my tv via cable. Using Flex 2 tried all available tweaks and tried my own but still will not work. Setup works for Moviebox fine, but refuses to work with netflix. Anyone tried this successfully?

Thanks

how can i enable airplay phone calls

how can i enable airplay in phone calls there's way to do this with phone app in flex 2?

I second this, does anyone know the process to flex apps like Showtime, or Fox Sports app? I'm able to change the values for airplay, just don't get the results I'm looking for.

If im not mistaken, Showtime now has a native ATV app that does everything the iOS app does. As for FOX Sports, all I could suggest was in my original post.

Enable AirPlay in TV Apps

hi,

I know this thread is a year old now but I just found it during a search and I would like to know if anyone managed to do anything ref Enabling AirPlay.

I personally have tried several times to get Sky Go, Sky Sports and Virgin Media TV Anywhere Apps working on my Apple TV.....all without success.

Did the thread just die or is there another forum discussing these subjects?

Regards
Colin

Hello,
I was wonder if someone has bypass nPlayer to play over airplay mkv x264. I can`t find a way to patch it via flex.
Thanks!

In this tutorial, I will attempt to show you how to enable airplay on any app which has been disabled.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Pre-requisites:

(1) Your iOS device must be jailbroken.
All iOS Devices 7.0 - 7.0.4 can be jailbroken with Evasi0n.
More information on Evasi0n can be found here

(2) You must have FLEX 2.0 installed.
FLEX is authored by John Coates and can be found on the BigBoss Repo.
FLEX is compatible with iOS 5, 6 & 7.
FLEX is $3.99 from the Cydia Store.

(3) You must have patience! :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1: Opening FLEX 2.0 & Patches in the Cloud

After installing Flex from Cydia, you'll notice the new FLEX icon on your homescreen. Flex has no settings to be found in the stock settings app; all of the patches/tweaks are adjusted inside the app itself. When you first open FLEX, you'll see a menu bar below with three options: Patches, Cloud & Info. Here is the break down:

Patches shows you the current patches available to be either enabled or disabled. Each patch is specific to only one app but may contain more than one tweak for that app. For example, in the patch shown below you can see there is a patch for and for the app.

Cloud shows you what patches have been uploaded and shared by other FLEX users. You should see four different categories (tabs) above: Installed, Recent, Popular & Top Rated.

cloud_screen.png

The Installed tab shows you a list of apps that are currently installed on your iOS device. This is a great way to discover different tweaks for a specific app you may have had in mind.

installed_tab.png

The Recent tab shows you patches that were uploaded recently. This is great for users who want to test out the latest patches being shared by other users.

recent_tab.png

The Popular tab shows you patches that have been downloaded many times. This is a great place to find cool patches for your apps.

popular_tab.png

In the Top Rated tab, you'll find patches that have been highly recommend by other users. This is a great place to find patches that are consistent and stable.

top_rated_tab.png

When you tap on one of these apps, it will give you a list of tweaks that have been created and shared by other users specifically for that app. Go ahead and choose the app that has airplay disabled by default and see if there are any patches available to enable airplay. Once you find the patch you'd like to install, tap the patch name and you'll see more information that the uploader may have provided. It's a good idea to read the information on this screen if its available to get a better understanding of what the patch does and if it's reliable based on it's rating.

One of the great features of FLEX is the capability to share the patches you've made with other users. Under the installed tab, you will find all the apps you have installed on your phone. Here you can select the app you are looking for to enable airplay. After selecting the app you can see the available patches uploaded by other users. The other three tabs should be self explanatory but here you go anyways: [Recent] are recently shared patches, [Popular] are patches that have recently been downloaded frequently by other users, and [Top Rated] are patches that have been given a high rating by other users.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 2: Creating Your Own AirPlay Patches!

In this step I will cover the Xfinity TV Go Patch I created for myself. Hopefully, it will help you in creating a patch for XYZ app that has airplay disabled.

First, tap on patches on the menu bar below to open the patches tab. Now, in order to begin creating a new patch, tap on the plus sign in the top right of the screen.

Are there any more steps to the process?

Thanks for taking an interest. As it turns out, I never revisited this tutorial and moved on from jailbreaking. Even if I wanted to work on this again I couldnt; I currently don't own any devices that can be jailbroken.

anyone find a fix for xfinity app?
I'm using the latest version of Xfinity TV 2 Go app with AirPlay using the values listed in this thread. I did not use any cloud patches; I entered the values manually listed in the OP. Here they are for reference (18 total).

This only works if mirroring is turned off, and I found that I have to disable screen autolock to keep the stream going (regardless of whether or not the app is enabled to run in the background via any of the options in Watchdog Pro, etc).

I heard a rumor that Xfinity is going to allow AirPlay in the near future, in the meantime, this works great.

As mentioned in the thread I linked, some reported that they had to start the stream and let it play for 10 seconds before enabling AirPlay. I have not had to do this, but it's good to know just in case.
