In fact, a lot of programs do this, so that the actors palm covers the apple logo

It's because they don't have permission.

If they were showing it, it would probably be Apple paying them, and not vice versa.

Sorry, no picture, but in the early episodes of Seinfeld, he had an old 'toaster' style mac on his desk. Never used it. also had a bicycle stored vertically on the wall, never used that either.

I always do this during shows. Every time there's a Mac, it has to be pointed out to everyone in the close vicinity.

For example, Transformers in the Cinema had "MAC!" screamed at every opportunity

And yes, It is a great show!
