Yes sorry. The front page of macrumors said it had been released with single sign on..they updated it to so it is not included.

I'm wondering if it's truly not done yet or they're about to release a new Apple TV and waiting for that to be announced or they're waiting on developers to update their apps first.

Apple TV update is out. Just updated mine. I like dark mode a lot. Haven't seen anything on single sign in though so I don't know where that comes into play.

This is on CNET....

Absent for now, however, is one of the bigger usability enhancements Apple promised earlier this year: single sign-on. Apple's representative told CNET that the feature, which eases setup of TV apps like Watch ESPN and FX Now that require a cable subscription for full functionality, is coming later this fall.

I found this on reference.com:
In North America, the fall season starts around September 22 and ends around December 21. Each year the exact date of the beginning and end of fall changes, but the dates are generally around those times.

I am assuming they ran into issues as I don't recall any mention of SSO being released at some time after the iOS10 launch. When I upgraded today, I 1st changed to dark mode, then went searching for SSO.

As a side note: It is mind boggling that they thought the light mode made sense as a default in the 1st place.

We are talking about the feature to enter your CABLE Provider Credentials ONCE for the Apps like ABC, NBC, TNT etc. This particular feature is not talking about NETFLIX or YOUTUBE etc. JUST the CABLE Provider Credentials.

However, if there was a place to store my NETLIX and HULU credentials in iCloud for my iOS and tvOS Devices I would love that too. But there has been no mention of that as far as I know.

Agreed! It would be great to have all of my password information managed in a single location that is then accessible by any device I have authenticated to via my Apple ID. That would truly make things "single sign on"!
