I installed the unauthorized lightning and I also still get the pop up message but my device does charge fine. That's all that really matters though, before it wouldn't charge at all with 3rd party cables.

Click to expand... Oh I see. Mine wouldn't charge at all. I'd have to unplug and plug it in like 5-6 times. I don't mind the pop up as long as it charges I'm ok with it.
