NONE of the mentioned alternatives have polished metal buttons...very important for people into polished things.
In combination with this, unbeatable:Or a 2 cent piece of tape? Or get fancy with a strip of Velcro with adhesive on the back side? What's with all these grossly overpriced accessories for Apple products???

On the contrary, the Wizard of Woz🧔 (the other Steve who co-founded Apple) would be proud of our ingenuity.😇 Jobs was the marketing guy, Wozniak was the brains/engineer of the outfit. There was a 3rd guy, but he's best remembered for giving up his share of Apple for a few hundred bucks. And all this cheapskate snark on a website dedicated to the expensive products from a company founded by a guy who famously (and fanatically) insisted that the backside and even the inside of their products had to look just as good as the front ... Steve would be very dissapointed in y‘all.
Sorry but Twelve South's products are completely different than when they first started. IMO their only products that seem to have stayed true are the BookBook covers. -- They sell a $30 candle that smells like "Apple" for crying out loud LOL.And all this cheapskate snark on a website dedicated to the expensive products from a company founded by a guy who famously (and fanatically) insisted that the backside and even the inside of their products had to look just as good as the front ... Budget has nothing to do with it. Every single person here can afford a 25 dollar product. It’s just silly as hell
It’s your fault if you place it BEHIND - i will place it INFRONTTHIRTY DOLLARS? For something that sits behind your desk/nightstand/counter, etc? Just buy some cheapo cable clips from Bezos' outfit and put them on. I usually love twelve south stuff. But this is outrageous.
$30? Insane pricing! Those will be on sale at the Dollar Store in six months for $1.00 out the door. I hope nobody here invested in this product. That is very expensive, in my opinion. Hard pass for me.
Seems not the use case of these! For a desktop installation, I would need at least six of these. There's absolutely no way I would pay that sort of money for something like this. I'll stay with stick-on pads with Ziploc ties and use my aftermarket glue. That would cost me around $5~$8. Apparently, they're adopting Apple's pricing scheme but without the Apple logo.
Rich people usually have the worst taste. Seriously - How many here have a high end 3-D printer for this vs tape or small zip ties on the cheap?Or you can just 3D print something like this with a few cents of plastic:

Captive Customizeable Cable Holder by bitswype
I was inspired by the Customizable Cable Holder by xifle to create a captive version that did not require a wall to hold the cables in place and to show off the capabilities of a 3d printer. This rendition of the cable holder prints as a single piece with an inner barrel captive in the outer...www.thingiverse.com
