I like the idea of the product - but I think they’re addressing just one part of the cable management issue that most of us have who work at desks. The good part of the product is that it will keep your cables from sliding off your desk when you don’t have them plugged into your iPhone, MacBook, iPad, etc. It’s an issue that drives me bonkers when I unplug my iPad Pro, for example, and the cable decides to fall behind my desk that is backed up against a wall. I use a sit/stand desk, that is mostly open underneath, so I can easily raise the desktop and grab the fallen cord, but getting it to stay on top of the desk while I’m under the desk is always a challenge.

But the negatives for this product - at least in my case:
1. It’s a high price for a good looking stitched leather and snap piece that would literally get hidden on the wall side of my desk. It would be great to have them in a place where you could see them, but then you’d have cables hanging in a more visible area and that is generally not a great look, which is a perfect segue to my point 2.
2. If you’re OCD about a bunch of loose cords hanging around and under your desk, you’d need a bunch of these things to route the cables, again often in places where no one will ever see them (not even yourself). Or you do what I have done with at least some of my cables, and that is to use 3M Command Strip clips to route cables under my desk to hide them.

I’m at the point where I’d like to see some kind of retractable cord system, so you could pull a USB-C cable from the back of your desk up to your device to charge it, then when done, unplug it and have it retract back leaving the desktop clean and cable-free.

This is basically a very expensive piece of tape..... There are plenty of ways to organize your cables and/or tack them to your desk, this one is just silly though

Or a 2 cent piece of tape? Or get fancy with a strip of Velcro with adhesive on the back side? What's with all these grossly overpriced accessories for Apple products???

Some people have taste, and are willing to pay for elegant solutions that are functional and also aesthetically pleasing.

For example, every Mac owner on this website.

Is it just me, or are all “self-adhesive“ objects destined to surrender to gravity sooner or later, and usually sooner? They nearly all seem barely capable of supporting their own weight, let alone a cable, set of keys, leash, led light, etc. Maybe the hilarious list price is for some revolutionary nano-velcro based on gecko biology or something, but if not, there’s your bright white $30 sticker collecting floor dust the next morning.
