Wow looks like they really nailed the phone wallet with this one. Can't wait to get one.

Was looking forward for this case, and while it still looks pretty amazing it's just too thick (20mm). And why they leave the top edge of iPhone 6 open like many other? Can't see a reason for that.

It's been my experience with a lot of other wallet cases that the edge around the flash is too bulky and causes the flash to reflect back into the photo, washing everything out. My guess is that they added the cutout to avoid this effect.

From that part it's understandable, but I exactly meant the top of the phone, as in, not the wallet but the shell case around the phone.

As seen in those 2 photos from the right.
But mostly it looks pretty nice.

I have misplaced smartphones but never my wallet. :) You are immediately dead in the water if you lose this, no thanks,

Just never cared to have all of my credit cards, driver's license & cash out for everyone to see when I am using my phone.

That is part of the reason I went with the Dock Artisan case. It is magnetic and the phone pulls right out when you need it. I had the Bookbook for years on the iPhone 4 but got tired of waiting for the iPhone 6 version to be released so I started looking around. The DA case is really nice.

Wow, from a qualitative reading of this thread, it seems like there are many absent minded people here, who either lose or have things stolen frequently.

This looks like a solid case obviating the need to carry both a wallet and your phone. The only problem for me is that I use a slim profile case style wallet for carrying change. Yes, there are some countries in the world where change has actual value (like the UK and Japan for example). And for the naysayers saying that ApplePay is supposed to make credt cards obsolete, you should venture beyond your borders some more.

I'm looking forward to hearing reports once earlier purchasers get their cases in. Please report back.

Edit: oh, I nearly forgot that wallet cases like this are extremely useful if you have an Oyster, Suica, Pasma etc.

I've had my Twelvesouth Book Book for my iPhone 4S for 2-1/2 years now, it's just finally starting to fall apart and I'm far from delicate with stuff I own. Great product, I would definitely buy one again for my next phone.

I frankly don't understand the appeal of this case. The case looks kinda cool but it provides very little protection while adding considerable bulk. Why not just carry the wallet and phone separately?

Convenience. I only have to grab/remember two things when I leave the house: keys, and my iPhone/wallet.

5 years ago when leaving the house, I had to remember keys, my MP3 player, my mobile phone, my wallet, possibly my digital camera, possibly a USB flash drive.

MP3 player, phone and camera eventually merged into one device. Now wallet and smartphone are one thing with this BookBook thing. Eventually wallets will disappear thanks to things like Apple Pay (and probably keys too).

It's the super-unification of things in your pocket. :D

I already got rid of my keys with an August Smartlock. A case like this will help me consolidate what's left of what I need to carry with me into just one grab and go item. Once ApplePay arrives in Canada, I'll probably stop carrying the wallet too. ID isn't mandatory to carry in Canada so that can stay at home for when I ever need it.

Losing all your stuff at once just got easier.

Au contraire, now I can find my wallet anywhere with Find My iPhone.

You are immediately dead in the water if you lose this, no thanks,

Or you can pick up any available web browser, access Find My iPhone, and have it tell you where your phone AND wallet are (or at least last seen at before the battery died).

I really wouldn't reccomend this product. I had one for my iPhone 5 and the leather on the inside rubs against the screen and Over a few weeks rubs a permanent ark onto it. Fortunately I bought mine from Apple who refunded me and swapped my iPhone out (I think they might do in store screen replacements now).

Just received mine today. Very nice quality, but since I have the 6+, it's quite bulky...but not such that it won't fit in my pocket.

I had one for my 5 and up until today when the bookbook arrived, I carried the empty bookbook for the 5 around along with my 6+. Happy to have the phone alone again.

So far, the wallet is better than the last version. Removing the attached case from the bookbook isn't as easy as I hoped, but I imagine after a few days ill be used to how it works and be able to move it in and out easily.

The case opens and closes better than my old one, and the card slots seem better designed as well. The "display mode" will be handy for surfing and watching videos while by a table or desk.

Overall: it's bulky, but so is the phone, and for keeping all my stuff together, I'm vey pleased so far.
