Twin Peaks (TV Series by David Lynch)

We don't know anything about it yet. It might not even be related to Twin Peaks, and Lynch is not the most straightforward director... from a certain point I'd prefer that the new show had nothing to do with Twin Peaks; for me The Return is the perfect ending. I also would love to see something more a-la Lost Highway (a movie that I didn't care much at first, and now it's a movie I love; go figure).

Exactly. Like is the other universe with Carrie Page the real universe and Twin Peaks was all a dream? That's just one angle. But I don't feel the need for more "Twin Peaks", but the universe the Twin Peaks is in? Absolutely!

Same here, man. That "blue skies and golden sunshine, internally" bit put a really big smile on my face, something that hasn't happened that much recently. That man is a treasure.

A dream has come true. Tonight I had the opportunity not only to see some of the cast of Twin Peaks, but also to take selfies with them and even chat a bit.

After a long wait of 36 years, I’ve finally visited the Twin Peaks locations. A dream come true, and obviously I had coffee and cherry pie at the Double R. It was… overwhelming.

Oh my goodness. What a trip to make. Good for you, I hope it was wonderful.
 
I wish I had found this thread earlier. I didn't know about Twin Peaks until 2001. A roommate had all the episodes on VHS, and I really enjoyed the show. It killed me when we got the last episode. I wanted to throw my small TV at a wall while yelling IT CAN'T END LIKE THIS! I was thrilled when I found out David Lynch got an opportunity to give us all closure. While I enjoyed the extra season, I was left even more confused by the last episode.

It's too bad that there was never a cross over with The X-Files. I'd much rather see David Duchovny as Fox Mulder than a cross-dressing FBI agent.
