I have ad tracking off.
Anyone else notice this?

Is he does provide proof, it would be to turn it on for the screenshot, then turn it back off.I'll do it when Jack Dorsey posts proof he's done it.
Amen. Social media is an unnecessary evil for many. I’ve been better off without it.Deleted twitter months ago and do not miss it.
This is what content providers are forcing us to do by allowing their ads to be so massively obnoxious, intrusive, and invasive to privacy. I would like to allow ads to help certain sites or apps to make money. I usually wind up blocking them because the ads are so ridiculously over-the-top.My approach on ads is to block them all.
🤣Surveillance capitalism. No thanks!
Nuke them from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.My approach on ads is to block them all.
😂 I can't with you. I'm gonna your jokingThat‘s good logic = Macrumors makes its money via ads for us to comment.
That does NOT describe my motivation to comment on this topic, nor for others (outside of contests). That my friend you’d never know and well to ass-u-me is just flat out wrong/your wrong about my motivations.
And there are many forums where I’ve commented on and originally did NOT have to make money from ads or membership fees, they just existed as LAMP/*AMP servers. There was also the days of BBS I enjoyed.
Take care.
It's horrible, you literally have to be watching what they play, I have seen them do 3 hour gaming sessions, full tv pilots to full tv episodes, they are completely desperate but it's not surprising to see new movie trailers drop the moment they upload them on anything I watch. In YouTube's case, it's because they want to push you to buy YT Premium. One of their execs publicly let this slip by describing their own plan as "frustrat[ing] and seduc[ing]" the users by increasing the number of ads (frustrating) and badgering them with promos for the paid YT (seducing).
Goes to show that even if you give them all the tracking data they want, they'll still want more money.
