As someone that uses Twitter every day. I didn’t even know that was an option. Granted I use it to read more than post.
SO true, I hope we will get this space free again.Good riddance. Give me back my screen real estate instead of that wasted space for fleets
A more interesting question is, what percent of those are bots vs real end users.
Start a campaign on Twitter to get it back. Use hash tag #FreeMySpaceSO true, I hope we will get this space free again.
I follow around 60-70 people : around 2-3 fleets per weeks 😅Did anyone really use Fleets? I know I certainly didn't and I've wasted 11 years on Twitter.
How about getting rid of the endless stream of ads, Twitter?
Easy, just get Adblock. Although if you’re using safari, you’re SOL. :’(Did anyone really use Fleets? I know I certainly didn't and I've wasted 11 years on Twitter.

Apparently the screen real estate is going to be used for their audio "Spaces" service instead.Good riddance. Give me back my screen real estate instead of that wasted space for fleets
That seems oddly appropriate.
Too much blanket on that statement for my tastes. My advice: be smart, use it responsibly, and it can amazing tool for connecting with people you don’t know (Twitter for me, in this case). I’ve connected with some fellow musicians that never would have happened without it.My advice: Stop using every social network. They're bad for you and they're worse for society. Text someone if you want to get in touch.
If so, I hope we could disable itApparently the screen real estate is going to be used for their audio "Spaces" service instead.
Vine and Periscope were both acquisitions they abruptly abandoned. They are a problem company. They suck up innovation and then kill the product.Twitter seems to fail at pretty much everything they try to do. Vine, Periscope, and now Fleets. What's worse is that other companies took Twitter's ideas and became very successful (Vine to TikTok, Periscope to IG/FB Live)
I use twitter to see hot takes and take jabs at snobby Hollywood elites. I don't want to hear from some schlub from Tallahassee making a mini podcast.Apparently the screen real estate is going to be used for their audio "Spaces" service instead.
To be honest, I see the same happening to FB and Insta at some point.I see Twitter ending up like Myspace in the future.
Hey! Guess what I think is going to happen to "Spaces" in a few months...Apparently the screen real estate is going to be used for their audio "Spaces" service instead.
Fleets... Instagram stories... Facebook stories... Snapchat stories... All the same garbage.
