I think he's terminated most of the moderation staff. Just this weekend he cancelled a lot of the accounts of contractors that did moderation. I wont be able to stand even looking at twitter without any moderation, especially political lying. I followed a couple people but almost never tweeted myself, so I guess I'll just write it off.

Any self-respecting boss would have done the same thing, especially after the guy doubled down and publicly bashed Musk for not emailing him.
Enron showed his character with that fire.

But, for $8, I don't get that from Twitter. So, again, where is the value.
People spend a lot more than $8 for things a lot dumber and more useless than a Twitter blue check.
I'm not on Twitter at all, but the idea that it should be "free" is really silly. Twitter has been bleeding money since Day 1.

Exactly, Google figure out how to not charge people like me and still make money. Twitter needs to figure that out...without charging for silly tags.
It's not magic. Just because advertisers spend big on Google doesn't mean they'll spend big on Twitter, regardless of who runs it. Twitter was a money pit for a decade before Musk.
