If that was true, Elon Musk wouldn't have bought Twitter in the first place.
It's absolulty true. I don't visit Twitter, ever.

So it’s probably a wash as they say 📈📉There's been a huge surge in users since the news of the purchase broke.
It's not a feature :/I’m shamelessly going to be paying for this feature tbh lol
Yes, the prices have stayed the same in a world where other phones have declined in price while adding actual technical improvements. It's about relative price change and value.
cause... u cant clone it for outside china..?why build a clone app when elon can just make twitter the wechat app
Elon? Nice to see you on Macrumors.
I'd rather see them charge more one time. Why would you have to verify more than once??
then no point in trashing twitter...cause... u cant clone it for outside china..?![]()
Those who learn nothing from history are doomed to repeat it.The worst think of course was when he tweeted that the Tesla stock was "overpriced". Within an hour billions of market cap were gone after that tweet and some investors sued him.
Although widely regarded as "tacky",[4] the shops and their wares were nevertheless extremely popular with the public, until Ratner made a speech addressing a conference of the Institute of Directors at the Royal Albert Hall on 23 April 1991.[5] During the speech, he commented:
We also do cut-glass sherry decanters complete with six glasses on a silver-plated tray that your butler can serve you drinks on, all for £4.95. People say, "How can you sell this for such a low price?", I say, "because it's total crap."[6]
He compounded this by going on to remark that one of the sets of earrings was "cheaper than a prawn sandwich from Marks and Spencer’s, but I have to say the sandwich will probably last longer than the earrings". Ratner made a guest appearance on UK television's BBC1 talk show Wogan, the following day after his speech, to apologise and explain his joking remark the previous day that some of his company's products were "total crap".
Ratner's comments have become textbook examples of why CEOs should choose their words carefully. In the furore that ensued, customers stayed away from Ratner shops. After the speech, the value of the Ratner group plummeted by around £500 million, which very nearly resulted in the group's collapse.[7] Ratner hired a chairman in an attempt to stabilise the situation, and was dismissed by the new company chairman in November 1992. The group changed its name to Signet Group in September 1993.[8]
Ratner's speech is famous as an example of the value of branding and image over quality. Such gaffes are now sometimes called "doing a Ratner",[9] and Ratner himself has acquired the sobriquet "The Sultan of Bling".[10] Ratner has said that his remarks were not meant to be taken seriously. He blamed what he called aggressiveness and deliberate misinterpretation by several media outlets for the severe consumer reaction.[8]

Elon bought Twitter because he was legally compelled to do so. No other reason.lol
If that was true, Elon Musk wouldn't have bought Twitter in the first place.
What can’t you say on Twitter? No vagueries, post the actual words you’re not allowed to say that you want to say.Nobody cares if you visit Twitter. Your claim that people can "say whatever they want" on Twitter was patently false.
The user you replied to said "in the first place". Nobody forced him to make the original offer.Elon bought Twitter because he was legally compelled to do so. No other reason.
Petulant Ass ******* owes Ukraine a free service that's costing him eight figures per month to provide?
lol

And the funny thing is, new name but still the same old crap. I'd never buy any of that overpriced rubbish that the Signet group of jewellers have. It is shockingly terribly, tacky in designs, and quality...Those who learn nothing from history are doomed to repeat it.
There was a chain of budget jewellery shops called Ratners in the UK named after its founder, Gerald Ratner. He gave a speech once, where he chose his words as carefully as Musk seems to have done. The rest is history:
It sort of doesn't matter. People who buy that stuff probably know that but it's what they can afford/like. The thing is, Signet's board isn't rubbing their faces in it over their lack of funds/taste.And the funny thing is, new name but still the same old crap. Petulant Ass bought Twitter because he could - not thinking whether he should and none of the kings men would stand and say “no boss you’re a great car tech guy but not so good at the social “
....erased all of its gains from the past 17 months as investors continue to sell off the stock in the wake of Chief Executive Officer purchase of Twitter Inc.
