This is going to be a very expensive year for me...

Time to replace original iPad Pro with updated iPad.
Replace Apple Watch if glucose monitoring is added
Replace 2015 MBP with MX MBP
Replace phone?

I think the Apple April event would probably introduce iPads and AirPods. The WWDC would probably be about new OS, operating system.

Their event logo says 'wee'? 'le'? 'ee'? 'pee?' — who knows. It looks a bit like a prion. You're getting iPads and tracking devices in any case.

With a colorful invite like that there has to be some kind of computer launching in multiple colors.

Having the iPads Air match with iMac colors would be very Apple.

And then Space Grey or Silver iPads Pro matching with iMacs Pro, per usual.

I certainly can't see Apple doing iPads Pro in anything but Silver and Space Grey and if that even logo design is integrated into the wallpaper of the device launching then it's really hard to imagine it on an iPad Pro, but very easy to see it on (colorful) iMacs.

This is too bright to be about a new (dark) Pro product.

I'm putting my bets on a line of colorful iMacs and no new "Pro" products of any kind.

GUYS !

The "Spring Loaded" graphic design is a throwback to the first Macintosh ads.

The colors of the "el" match with the old-school "Mac" Apple logo that Apple used before the grey/white modern Apple logo that we know today.

I think this means new iMacs. I'm almost 100%.

I hate to be so excited about gadget release and being disappointed with lack of really interesting features.
But I'm Excited, every time! And now again!

Clever observation and I agree the colors suggest something colorful. I hope your right about the iMacs as I'm holding off on purchasing one for this event.

Piggy-backing on this, I think the primary limitation is iPadOS. It's already the best tablet OS, but it can be so much better with better multi-tasking and multi-user support.

The latter point is self-explanatory I think, and the former related to multi-app workflows. Compared to macOS, it's just too dang complicated to move files or workproduct from app to app. Take this basic example: get a link to a zip file shared somehow, open the file share, download the zip, extract the files from zip, modify the files inside the zip based on instructions in the body of the email, save the modified files, zip them back up, and upload to the file share. On macOS, most of this is super simple. On iPadOS, this workflow can be a nightmare and result in various versions of the files scattered throughout multiple apps.
any OS without preemptive multitasking will never be "pro" lol

is Scully making the iPadOS decisions here? Hello 1988 wants their OS back

Lots of talk about how great the m1 is and how great Apple is for making it. Then they’ll say the iPad is now desktop class computing. They might tease big things for WWDC.

Announce airtags for the public and privately show the NSA airtag dots that are tiny but will use the air tags network. Technically apple can build airbags into all their products to be tracked while mac is on or off.
