Twitter Hashflag for April 20 Apple Event Goes Live

Going to be very disappointed if there's no new iMac
Maybe it will help you in the long run though, as I always used to expect more than they delivered, so now have tempered the expectations to avoid any disappointment. Its a good tactic when it comes to Apple launches.

I would love to see :

Loaded imacs
Loaded MBP [14+16]
Loaded ipads

couldn't care less about air tags......

1 out of 3 most likely, and if we are lucky 2, and the MBP in October [unfortunately].

GUYS !

The "Spring Loaded" graphic design is a throwback to the first Macintosh ads.

The colors of the "el" match with the old-school "Mac" Apple logo that Apple used before the grey/white modern Apple logo that we know today.

I think this means new iMacs. I'm almost 100%.
Bingo -- direct callout to the original "Hello" ads.

this is it.

I'm worried this focus on M1-chip and mini-LED means they will bump up the price on this new high-end iPadPro 12.9"....what do you guys think? Same price or new price?
Would Make sense new tech is usually more expensive, but the cheapies will whine and say it’s too expensive, they say everything is too expensive, i think some of them forget apple is a business and they make as much as possible for shareholders, the best thing was when airpod max came out, I loved it the cheapies went crazy. They complain about power bricks for iPhones

The 2018 iPad Pro is more than enough for every iPad app in the App Store. Apple really needs pro apps for the iPad to make the “Pro” iPad relevant in the post-M1 world.
Agreed. That's the one I am still using. I want Final Cut Pro x on my iPad. Until then, I have to use the Mac Mini also.

Piggy-backing on this, I think the primary limitation is iPadOS. It's already the best tablet OS, but it can be so much better with better multi-tasking and multi-user support.

The latter point is self-explanatory I think, and the former related to multi-app workflows. Compared to macOS, it's just too dang complicated to move files or workproduct from app to app. Take this basic example: get a link to a zip file shared somehow, open the file share, download the zip, extract the files from zip, modify the files inside the zip based on instructions in the body of the email, save the modified files, zip them back up, and upload to the file share. On macOS, most of this is super simple. On iPadOS, this workflow can be a nightmare and result in various versions of the files scattered throughout multiple apps.
Agreed. Even installing a font requires a cloud app, a font app, multiple visits to preferences to check this and install that, and then, you don’t like it and go back to Helvitica.

I think this event will only reveal AirTags and new iPads. Still hoping for a new Apple TV, which is likely, but I won't be surprised if it doesn't.
There won't be any M2, or iMacs or MacBooks.

Agreed. I think they'll save the Macs for WWDC.

That said I hope I'm wrong and they vomit everything out, making the event truly "loaded".

It's a hashtag that has an icon automatically added to it whenever the hashtag is used. First time I've seen the term myself, but that's what it is.
Thanks for explaining what a hashflag is! I was looking out for some effect on liking the tweets but there was none and got confused!
