Funny, my first reaction to this article was “WTF is a hashflag”. Apparently been around for 11 years. https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/hashflag
Maybe it will help you in the long run though, as I always used to expect more than they delivered, so now have tempered the expectations to avoid any disappointment. Its a good tactic when it comes to Apple launches.Going to be very disappointed if there's no new iMac
The colours in the logo remind me of thisGUYS !
The "Spring Loaded" graphic design is a throwback to the first Macintosh ads.
The colors of the "el" match with the old-school "Mac" Apple logo that Apple used before the grey/white modern Apple logo that we know today.
I think this means new iMacs. I'm almost 100%.
Bingo -- direct callout to the original "Hello" ads.GUYS !

hehe emac 🤣
When did m1 come out? Wasnt it less than a year ago?M2? come on, Apple!!!
Would Make sense new tech is usually more expensive, but the cheapies will whine and say it’s too expensive, they say everything is too expensive, i think some of them forget apple is a business and they make as much as possible for shareholders, the best thing was when airpod max came out, I loved it the cheapies went crazy. They complain about power bricks for iPhonesI'm worried this focus on M1-chip and mini-LED means they will bump up the price on this new high-end iPadPro 12.9"....what do you guys think? Same price or new price?
About as memorable as a “slowfie”What is a Hashflag? I'm still trying to figure out what a hashtag is.![]()
Remember the “slofie” from 2019? It’s kinda like that. What the heck is a hashflag is it another term fir a hashtag?!? Omg just call it a hash tag
Agreed. That's the one I am still using. I want Final Cut Pro x on my iPad. Until then, I have to use the Mac Mini also. The 2018 iPad Pro is more than enough for every iPad app in the App Store. Apple really needs pro apps for the iPad to make the “Pro” iPad relevant in the post-M1 world.
Why? There has not been one rumor that would indicate a new iMac at this point in time. Might have better luck at WWDC.Going to be very disappointed if there's no new iMac
Apple lost them.“Long-awaited AirTags.” It might become even longer. I'm not optimistic. But hey, there is always hope. M2 MacBook Air would be nice.![]()
A hashflag tells you where you can buy hash. A hashtag tells you... (inhales)... It’s just stuff. You can’t take it with you, man. What is a Hashflag? I'm still trying to figure out what a hashtag is.![]()
Agreed. Even installing a font requires a cloud app, a font app, multiple visits to preferences to check this and install that, and then, you don’t like it and go back to Helvitica.Piggy-backing on this, I think the primary limitation is iPadOS. It's already the best tablet OS, but it can be so much better with better multi-tasking and multi-user support.
The latter point is self-explanatory I think, and the former related to multi-app workflows. Compared to macOS, it's just too dang complicated to move files or workproduct from app to app. Take this basic example: get a link to a zip file shared somehow, open the file share, download the zip, extract the files from zip, modify the files inside the zip based on instructions in the body of the email, save the modified files, zip them back up, and upload to the file share. On macOS, most of this is super simple. On iPadOS, this workflow can be a nightmare and result in various versions of the files scattered throughout multiple apps.
No colours are artificial, not even ones missing a ‘u’.
We already did.Is this #hit or #miss ?
Will we get a post when T. Cook takes a dump?
Agreed. I think they'll save the Macs for WWDC.I think this event will only reveal AirTags and new iPads. Still hoping for a new Apple TV, which is likely, but I won't be surprised if it doesn't.
There won't be any M2, or iMacs or MacBooks.
Thanks for explaining what a hashflag is! I was looking out for some effect on liking the tweets but there was none and got confused! It's a hashtag that has an icon automatically added to it whenever the hashtag is used. First time I've seen the term myself, but that's what it is.
