If you're going to use Twitter, just do it through the web browser. All using the app accomplishes is giving Twitter extra telemetry on you.
Seems like Apple did it. Let's give credit where it's due.Surely being logged out of Twitter is a good thing?
Best thing Twitter have ever done.
It's the same thing on a web browser. Unless you use a browser that prevents those trackers and cookies. (e.g. Brave)If you're going to use Twitter, just do it through the web browser. All using the app accomplishes is giving Twitter extra telemetry on you.
Well said, well said. That doesn’t sound like a bug, it sounds like a benefit…
When I first signed up I thought, what a wonderful idea. I looked forward to hearing off the cuff remarks from actors I enjoyed watching while I was growing up, such as Mark Hamill. Now I wish they would all shut the hell up. ?I permanently logged out of Twitter ages ago , dreadful place full of horrible people
Yes, I'm having the same issue - extremely frustrating.I’m not getting logged out. But for the last couple of days( (maybe more?), when I touch a link to Twitter from a Mail message, I’m not taken to the tweet but to a blank screen that read “Nothing to see here - yet.”
Anyone else?
If you do manage to find a resolution, can you please post it here.Yes, I'm having the same issue - extremely frustrating.
There's quite the thread over on Apple's forums, so they are definitely aware. And it is clearly an iOS-issue.If you do manage to find a resolution, can you please post it here.
Thanks
Not a solution, but this functionality is now working for me. I launch Mail, call up an email from Twitter, and now when I touch a link in their email, it auto launches Twitter app and takes me to the expected tweet. If you do manage to find a resolution, can you please post it here.
Thanks
Guys mine seems to have started to work again. No more "nothing to see here yet" messages.I have confirmed that old twitter links still yield the “nothing to see here” message. So maybe “the fix” is the way Twitter is coding their email.
Interested to hear details on said fix.
Same. Was broken, did nothing, now it's fixed. I think that would have to be on Twitter's end - how they are now building/coding their email. Maybe?Guys mine seems to have started to work again. No more "nothing to see here yet" messages.
No idea how as I haven't changed anything nor updated the app.
