Yeah looks like the redesign is starting to kick in for more and more users. Mine just came through on my end.

I like it - will take a little time to get used to it i'm sure. like the live likes and RT's numbers.

because this is being rolled out via server side it seems maybe the safar links feature has not been pushed yet?!

I got the new design on my iPhone, but links are not opening inside Safari.
Didn't try iPad, yet.

Open links in Safari is not working on my iPhone, too.

Oh, that's interesting. On my iPhone there's a toggle in Accessibility but that's just for making it default to Reader View. Links open automatically in Safari.

i wouldn't be surprised if they pushed out another app update 7.0.1 soon that addresses issues with this redesign changes.

That’s the lamest reason! lol!! Facebook has the same functionality where you can like and share, and have your post shared a million times. You can still edit grammatical errors if need be.
yeah having a history is one easy solution. as is a window for edits. or even just wiping all comments. any which way is better than the current low tech solution to the nazi problem.

safari control means that content blockers should be able to work, right? nothing drives me crazier than trying to open a link in twitter and then get bombasted with ads.

Just got the update. The redesign is much cleaner. I am curious about how it chooses to order the accounts when you swipe from the left; it's not in the order you arrange them and doesn't appear to be by usage, either.

Like what? Genuinely curious what API limitations Twitter has in place. Currently use Twitterific myself, but I'm not aware of anything i'd be missing out on over the official app.

No polls, live video, Twitter cards, Twitter moments, etc. Sure, other apps are nice if you just want a feed and nothing else. But I quite enjoy many of the aspects beyond that.

Holding on a link and choosing Open in Safari still works for me.

This redesign is nice... not a drastic departure. It's definitely giving me an iOS 11 vibe through with the thick black type.

Something I’ve been noticing about all these redesigns in the past year is how they’ve been going from “flat design” to something far beyond flat. When apps were transitioning to flat around 2013, all they really did was make textures into solid colors. A solid color menu bar with white cards overtop a light grey background. But lately, twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, have even ditched that and are just all white. In a way, it’s like they’re catching up to the style of ios7, but with more sophisticated gestures and better typography. It’s interesting how just now these apps are starting to go all white like iOS.

Go figure, I got the new UI but I still don't have the "pictures don't count towards the 140 characters" feature that they announced a year ago. It's clearly a bug affecting older accounts since my newer ones work just fine.

And good luck getting support from Twitter. Interacting with the @Support bot is maddening. It has no F'n clue what anything means and it's impossible to get a response from a real person at Twitter.

Btw. Safari Webview Controller is working now, I had to delete the App and reinstall it.
Before that, I just had the new look. Adblocker works, too.

How does this work? Is it an option/setting I have to turn on somewhere?

edit: nevermind, I am seeing it now as well I think. Pretty cool!
