I've found this to be the case. TweetDeck is the runner up.

Tweetdeck is awesome but they need to add multitasking for iOS . Seesmic is pretty good too.

Osfoora is really good too. But I think twitter's app is a little better, and free.

Are there any good Twitter pushing apps? I've heard of several but users reported bugginess and lackluster performance (took too long to push, didn't run in the background, crashed, etc.)

I suppose I could always just resign up for mobile updates but I was never a fan of that.

Twitterrific, especially if you have more than one account.

Tweetie 2 was the best. Then Twitter bought it and made it the native app. And it's free! It's the best!

Twitter For iPhone (Twitter’s Own App)

A better question is: Best Twitter application for Mac?

Tweetie is good but it has some issues and I just don’t like the way it handles Growl notifications, Badges, etc.
TweetDeck is very ‘meh’ for me. And the Adobe Air part makes me like it even less.

Twitter's app. It gets the job done quickly and doesn't look bad to boot. I do miss the Twitterific bird chirps though.
