My 256Gb Crucial M4 is still alive and kicking. Can I ask what Firmware you were using on it?

Because I bought a 512Gb M4 to upgrade my 256Gb and it failed just 4 days after purchase. It was on the firmware that has since been patched already.

But when it failed after 3 days of use, I took it back to the store and got the Samsung 840.

Justinhub2003,

Sorry man, but I was so bother by this whole ordeal that I never checked. Keep in mind that they where in external enclosures so the Firmware app Crucial recommened said "Can't find M4 SSD Drive", or something to the affect. I suppose it was the original firmware even though one was new and the other referbished. I suppose Crucial figured the customer would fix it. NOT!

I hear more and more people speaking highly of Samsung. Once I get my rufunds, I'm going that route. I'm using the a KINGSTON in my laptop and it never gave me one issue in the past 2+ years. I even have BitLocker encryption enabled which stresses the device even more.
