We now offer two-factor authentication through your user control panel: http://forums.macrumors.com/account/two-step

(I realize this is a bit of a half step without having SSL connections, but we're looking into that again.)

Er, might I ask what does this mean, exactly?

And, since the switchover to Xenforo I have been having huge problems with my password as all of the old ones appear to be null and void.

Thanks, @arn. I'm surprised every site isn't using two-factor authentication now.

@Scepticalscribe, 2 factor authentication means that after entering your password on a new device/computer you will have to authenticate via a text message or email so that someone can't just crack your password.
