Fedex used to be the holy grail of carriers, now it's UPS.
I'm now dancing the delivery tango:
- The Deliveries app says "12 days" in the overview.
- The same app says "11 days" in the details and "refreshed 15 hours ago".
- Apple's Website says "Mon Feb 06". (7 days)
- Tracking on Fedex.com says "2/2/2023 before 12:00 pm" (3 days).
Wondering about all the 3rd-rate people involved in programming this. I realize programming can be difficult, but there's really a lot of stupidity in this. The Deliveries app first came out in 2010 or so, how can the overview and the details show different dates? Apple could maybe coordinate better with Fedex.
Looking forward to the Fedex bait-and-switch they've been pulling for the last few years: On the day before the scheduled delivery, the delivery will switch from "by 12pm" to "by 8pm". This will steadfastly stay the status even after it hasn't been delivered by 8pm. At 1am, it'll change to another delivery date of whatever.
