IIRC, Apple even encourages you to trade in with case and screen protector so they can be recycled.

I know on the iPad they say to send in the case to recycle…. They don’t mention screen protector. inforfot to take the screen protector off and they came back with some BS that the screen was messed up…. Contacted Apple and mentioned that their issue might be that I forgot tonremove the screen protector…. they looked at the photos of my trade in and said there was nothing wrong and gave me my money!

Has anyone been able to find their serial number? I feel like that was something that was figured out prior to delivery in past years.

You don’t get it at all unless you got AppleCare and it emails your agreement with the new serial number on the plan

Not true. Go to your invoice after Apple marks it as shipped and you will see your serial number.

Me too! I know 9.99% of phones scheduled for delivery tomorrow will arrive tomorrow but it’s still exciting to see that status change.

Always find it funny that while the phone has been traveling since 9/15, Apple says it’s still preparing to ship the day before arrival.

The phones are awaiting a customs scan before Apple updates status to Shipping.

I’m always thrilled to get the new iPhone and set it up but I love being part of this forum and it’s always a bit anti-climactic when it‘s time to say good-bye for another year.
