How much of my data allowance did this just suck up?

So, I'm happily listening to my music on shuffle, when all of a sudden I hear this unknown (to me) song. "How the hell did that get there?" I wonder.

OK, after reading this thread and some other articles, I see how it got there. Now how do I get rid of it please. Even though it is on my phone, it does not appear anywhere in my iTunes library on my computer - even when my phone is connected and synced. iTunes 11.4 (18), running Mountain Lion: 10.8.5 on a macbook pro retina. I unchecked "Show All Music" on my phone, but I still see it there. It also no longer has the cloud item next to it, so how much of my data did allowance was used downloading it? Even if it downloaded via wifi, that's irrelevant in my case since my phone and home internet solution are both Verizon Wireless and share data (I live in the sticks, no cable or DSL).

I can see no way of removing the song directly from my phone, nor preventing it (or more importantly, other songs from the album not yet downloaded) from playing again (and using more of my data allowance). I cannot see the song or album at all in iTunes on my computer even after syncing.

I do have iCloud enabled, but I don't play music off of the cloud because I don't want to eat up my data allowance. I certainly do not want my phone downloading more songs I didn't ask for and eating up more of my data allowance.

This has nothing to do with the quality of the song - which is actually not too bad as it turns out.

Can't even swipe left to delete it

Well, according to others, I can just swipe left to delete this song. But, while I can do that with any of the other songs in my music library, I cannot, apparently, do that with the newly downloaded U2 song. :-(

The one I'm stuck with is "The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone)"

To those of you annoyed, hate to tell you, but Bono has been living inside your phone for years now...

I listened to the album...I like it. Favorite by far is Volcano followed by Raised by Wolves! If it's not your cup of tea, I understand not wanting it in your collection. All you have to do is in iTunes on a Mac right click and delete. A prompt will ask if you want it removed from iCloud and just click confirm.

....singing..."vol....ca....nooooo"
