He definitely should explain it. However, he still bent one in real time. It's not like he only showed a before and after the clocks indicate a swap out. Plus there are numerous other videos and accounts of it being able to bend intentionally with just your hands and perhaps unintentionally.

Like I've said since the beginning. The truth will come out regardless of what it is or what anyone wants. No need to get your panties all wrapped up. Just get some popcorn.

The real-time bend involved so much force that his hands are shaking from the effort - as if he knew that he had to make the damned thing bend, no matter what.

Oh, and may I name this? #Bendfugazi

My 6 plus got bent :(

My thigh struck a corner of a table with my iPhone 6 plus in my front pocket. My case comes next week, although I'm not sure it would have helped. I've had 6 iPhones and this is the first major damage I've incurred. :( It looks like the bending happened at that volume button sweet spot. I'm heartbroken. :(

Oof... sorry to hear you damaged your phone :(

Maybe follow up with Apple and see if they are nice? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/09/25/bent-iphone_n_5881854.html

p.s. make sure to practice being able to get the tears flowing at a moments notice for when you see the genius!

Thanks for the correction. Still not bad. $66,000 for about an hour's worth of work.

He might get it to $80,000 when he posts his 3rd video explaining the time differences.

Personally I don't think it's fake. Just doesn't make sense. There are other videos of ppl bending a 6+. It's perfectly reasonable to expect a phone of those dimensions and material to bend under such force. Ppl claiming it wouldn't are deluded.

So I don't exert 30x more force on my bike when I jump 15 ft. Kickers?

Boeing 737 fuselage? Material and thickness? Please elaborate.
What he is trying to get at is the formula of force which is mass times acceleration in a direction. So think about it for a second, the mass of an iPhone is termendously less of that of your bike.

Also, you have to keep in mind how bikes are structured, they are built to spread the acceleration of the object that applies force to it. Your force per unit area will be significantly lower as you (object's mass) on the bike is very low as the area is very high.

You had to have hit a sharp table pretty hard. Notice the dimple on the back of the case below the Apple logo.

That's probably the spot he hit the phone with the hammer he used to provoke that bending...

Can someone explain how this refutes the Unboxing Therapy video??? It seemed to me that he did bend the phone, but at the end (1:56 or whatever time on his phone) he either bent it back or cut to him talking about the phone before he brutally bent it (but after it was bent from his "pocket". People are saying the time proves it was fake but I don't buy this explanation!!!

Heh. I got AppleCare+ just in case. It's the first time I've bought an apple care plan and I've had 5 iPhones. They are sending me a box to mail it back in. Hopefully I'll get it fixed (or a replacement ) next week.

Of course I know this. His statement was flat out that it's aluminum, of course it will bend. He's alluding that aluminm is some type of weak metal as found in soda pop cans.

Broadstroking aluminum this way only serves to enforce a notion that Apple used an inferior material in its phones.

That must have been one hell of a hit, did you lose a leg?....Considering it takes 100 Pounds of Mass pressure to bend an iPhone 6 plus and converting that to Pound Force (lvm vs. lbf) Force equals mass x acceleration, I would imagine that hit put a hole right through your thigh. But luckily, your 6 plus took all the force trauma for you.

WOW! The guy can do better visual effects than most of Hollywood. I have to say I'm impressed.

The iPhone 6 plus saved your life. "$329" vs "ER + x-ray + blood + pains + cast + $$$$ bills".

I think he was trying to convey that a sheet of aluminum is not as strong as a structured piece of aluminum design to spread the force out.

Though, aluminum is actually really strong. It's used in cars to keep it lightweight yet strong. I agree with you there. I think the guy also doesn't know what's going on in the inside to spread the force and how it is made to spread out that force.

I honestly, thought the guy who made the video is a total idiot. He says he doesn't try too hard to bend it but he completely underestimates how much he tried. The guys fingers go red and nails white (indication of strong force applied).
