He definitely should explain it. However, he still bent one in real time. It's not like he only showed a before and after the clocks indicate a swap out. Plus there are numerous other videos and accounts of it being able to bend intentionally with just your hands and perhaps unintentionally.
Like I've said since the beginning. The truth will come out regardless of what it is or what anyone wants. No need to get your panties all wrapped up. Just get some popcorn.
My thigh struck a corner of a table with my iPhone 6 plus in my front pocket. My case comes next week, although I'm not sure it would have helped. I've had 6 iPhones and this is the first major damage I've incurred. It looks like the bending happened at that volume button sweet spot. I'm heartbroken.

My favorite part of that article was BI citing a source as a Reddit user named "tittywagon".![]()
best part of this story? business insider quoting reddit user "tittywagon" i lol'd
Gotta start reading the thread responses![]()
Thanks for the correction. Still not bad. $66,000 for about an hour's worth of work.
He might get it to $80,000 when he posts his 3rd video explaining the time differences.
What he is trying to get at is the formula of force which is mass times acceleration in a direction. So think about it for a second, the mass of an iPhone is termendously less of that of your bike.So I don't exert 30x more force on my bike when I jump 15 ft. Kickers?
Boeing 737 fuselage? Material and thickness? Please elaborate.![]()

You had to have hit a sharp table pretty hard. Notice the dimple on the back of the case below the Apple logo.My thigh struck a corner of a table with my iPhone 6 plus in my front pocket. Oof... sorry to hear you damaged your phone
Maybe follow up with Apple and see if they are nice? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/09/25/bent-iphone_n_5881854.html
p.s. make sure to practice being able to get the tears flowing at a moments notice for when you see the genius!

Also, you have to keep in mind how bikes are structured, they are built to spread the acceleration of the object that applies force to it. Your force per unit area will be significantly lower as you (object's mass) on the bike is very low as the area is very high.

I think he was trying to convey that a sheet of aluminum is not as strong as a structured piece of aluminum design to spread the force out.Of course I know this. His statement was flat out that it's aluminum, of course it will bend. He's alluding that aluminm is some type of weak metal as found in soda pop cans.
Broadstroking aluminum this way only serves to enforce a notion that Apple used an inferior material in its phones.
