I typically only use about 30 GB of storage, but seeing the 128gb modelled sold out everywhere, I had to bite the bullet and pay an extra £100 for 256GB because impatient lol.

I just checked my storage on this phone, I have 5 pages worth of apps, 10,000 photos, 500 videos and a tonne of downloaded music. I’m at UNDER 20GB!!

I think a 64GB could have sufficed for me lol.

I’d keep it. Returning it to get 128GB would take time that’s not worth £100.

iCloud Photo Library, at least for the photos and videos.
well yeah, but he seems to be implying they're downloaded to his device, and definitely says he has 500 videos downloaded, as well as "a tonne" of music. You definitely don't have a tonne of music if you're using less than 20gb of your phone's storage.

It’s definitely 19.5GB used. But it’s no skin of my back if you don’t believe me, I mean we’re just a bunch of randoms off the internet lol.

Anyway damage is done now, phone should be here Friday. I’m excited.

If apple ever release an iPhone that has 16GB user inaccessible storage, and the phone must be connected to the internet all the time to be usable, you will likely be the one guy that is their target customer.

You will find people don't believe you because many of us have Apple iphones and other Apple media devices, ipod's and ipod touch, many with 32Gb, 64Gb and they do not have even a third of what you say you have on your device but yet their device is full.

I have a 4th gen 32Gb ipod touch and it cannot hold anywhere near what you say device can hold. So yes, people will have doubts, myself included.

Not sure why I’m having to prove my self to people I don’t know. And with regards to my downloaded album count, it’s 12. To me it’s a tonne anyway.

I had 256GB on my old iPhone 8. I set my Spotify to download tons of stuff at the highest bitrate, copied a ton of my own music files onto it at a high bitrate... and just never managed to fill more than half of the space. Turns out 128 is the sweet spot for me.

500 videos and only used up 20Gb of storage..i don't think so!!!

Makes sense to me. Here’s my SE 2020. I'm using twice as much, but I've also got twice as many videos. And all of those videos are shot directly on the phone, not from elsewhere.
