Love that strap - will order it when it's back in stock
Time for a drink and the long wait…Mine has shipped with DPD. Got a tracking number but DPD don't recognise it yet which is normal for this time. Roll on 07:00 and our one hour slots![]()
Day before launch day and ordering so late?Just ordered an Apple Watch Ultra 3 Black with Black Alpine Loop from EE. It says delivery on launch day, but we'll wait and see. I'm on the Full Works iPhone plan, so just bought the watch outright, as my tariff already has an Apple Watch plan.
Edit: Got dispatched notification and tracking info.
I tried to convince myself not to order it and failed today 😂Day before launch day and ordering so late?
I'll pop out tomorrow and see what I can find for pickup 🤣
Recon I'll probably be lucky going by the stock levels ...
That would be cool....I tried to convince myself not to order it and failed today 😂
It’s on the way to my local DPD depot, so looks like delivery tomorrow 😊

I have the slate Milanese coming for my Series 11, I hope I like mine as much too!I have that band and it is by far my favourite Apple band ever.
I wonder if I'll have the same relationship with the new Milanese Loop in my AWU3, I will find out in a couple of hrs, I suppose! The original Milanese Loop and I had a pretty chill relationship—no deadly sharp edges, no wrist scars, nothing dramatic. But every so often, my forest of arm hair would get a little too adventurous. One brave strand would lean over the edge like, “Guys, I’m gonna check out what’s happening down there!” …and then SNAP! The band would grab it like a ninja with a grappling hook.
Cue me flinching, wincing, and trying to casually play it off in public, like, “Nope, didn’t just get ambushed by my own watch, everything’s totally fine here!” Meanwhile, deep down, my arm hair is filing an HR complaint against the Milanese Loop for workplace harassment.
It’s basically a love story—me, the stylish watch, and my overly dramatic arm hair, locked in an endless battle of beauty versus pain.
