I just gave this a try with the Milanese loop bit on the bottom - but it felt really strange when clasping etc. I'm happy with it on the top like how you say you have it.Lol I am the opposite with my Milanese! It looks strange on my wrist on the bottom
But you are right - it looks good that way on you
Interested to know how this works out - not sure if you read my earlier post #12. Since that post I visited an Apple Store in London today for more information, but disappointingly they had not been briefed on this topic, advising me to speak with EE - who earlier had told me to speak with Apple - as they only know about the watch, but did not know if it needed 5GSA or 5GRC.Anyone on EE actually managed to get the watch to connect to 5G? I’m in a SA area but only 4G
I was reading an article that AWU3 may utilise 5G RedCap which is most often found in IoT devices and fitness trackers. It is a tailored version of 5G and I believe requires 5G SA which is not universally rolled out across the various networks in UK. I'm assuming that in its absence the watch defaults back to 4G rather than standard 5G.Interested to know how this works out - not sure if you read my earlier post #12. Both US and UK S11 watch are the same model number.
If you are in a 5GSA area, but only getting 4G, then that suggests 5GRC has not been activated on your mast. Does your iPhone connect on 5GSA?
Again, please post back with the outcome.
5G SA is in my area and the phone works fine using it.Interested to know how this works out - not sure if you read my earlier post #12. It’s working on mine. When I go swimming my watch disconnects from my iPhone in the locker and goes on 5G (the only time they tend to be apart). I’m in Newcastle.Anyone on EE actually managed to get the watch to connect to 5G? I’m in a SA area but only 4G
