UK & EU 27 inch Delivery Thread

iMac with 1TB fusion drive ordered 4 December.

Got email on 31 December that it had been shipped. Cannot track it as the number does not work on any courier sites and no delivery service is mentioned on the Apple website.

On Monday it said delivery 5 January, but yesterday this changed to 10 January.

Shipping to Germany.

I ordered mine on the 4th Dec, it changed to shipped late on the 31st but I have no other info as it says it's going to merge with other products. I'm assuming that's the apple care package and the tb to fw adaptor I ordered at the same time.

Still saying estimated delivery date is the 8th though, which is inside the original 3rd to 9th time frame.

Thanks for the info! Hopefully our packages have been cleared this time around.

Looks like we won't be receiving our iMacs until Friday (at earliest).

Great... to Belgium, where mine has to be. Hopefully they drive it immediately to my place and not first to another country.

That would be great, but mine is scheduled for delivery at monday the 7th... Hopefully it will make tonight's flight so it'll be delivered friday or saturday.

I meant:

If yours is still at Pudong airport and mine is still at Pudong airport and they make it to the same flight, they probably have the same delivery dates.... So if my delivery date is the 7th... your actual delivery date might be the 7th... that is if mine doesn't change or is being delivered friday or saturday

So.. if i wasn't clear enough... i hope all of our iMac's (if they are going to be on the same flight) will be delivered friday/saturday instead of the 7th.
 
I called Apple (again). And seems like UPS finally took responsibility for losing the package but are still investigating and looking for it.

The Apple employee told me they will ship me a new iMac by the end of tomorrow. Hopefully this time UPS delivers it!

If you are in the UK, I think our iMacs are in the same flight.

According to my findings, the iMacs are in Luxembourg and will arrive at London early in the morning tomorrow.

You can check your iMac's route through the URL below and putting your delivery reference number.

It's here, after a 1 month + two day wait. Absolutely love it. There actually is quite some bass in the speakers. Single dead pixel right of center near top of screen, probably wouldn't even have noticed it had I not actively checked for it. It's light grey and invisible unless the background is pure white. No problem! Time to put this lady through her paces.
 
Ordered on the 5th dec- Processing for 25 days

Preparing for shipment - for 2 days.

Shipped on the 2nd Jan.

Delivery now scheduled for 'by the 9th' (within the originally quoted 3rd to 10th window)

Man, I have to say, this sucks. I have read your posts since last year and to have it fall through at the last hurdle is not a good experience. To have gone through the cycle of excitement, ordering, getting estimated delivery dates, changing from processing (where mine still resides) to shipping, getting it in the country, through the various depos and then finally out on a van only for it to fail to turn up for 3-4 days over Christmas. Dreadful. Hope Apple get a machine out to you pronto. Puts my downgrade from 2-7 January to non-specific January (which some people means 23-31st Janyary) into context. Best of luck.
 
Quick question for anyone still waiting in Processing.

We now know that ac wifi will be in iMac 2013, so given today's news (thread below) are you tempted to cancel? To me, wifi is one of the significant bottlenecks on performance (and was kind of hoping would be incorporated in the 2012 iMac) so sorely tempted but don't want to wait to September. Arghhhh

With my order currently sitting in Koeln, Germany, what's the likelihood I'll receive it by tomorrow at my house in the UK?
